Very interesting beer. Legenda means legend - day, then Aldaris started a new begining in Riga.

Golden colored, little white head. Malty, grainy, sweet, even caramelly aroma with hints of toffee. Thin to medium bodied, slightly watery palate. Flavor is also nicely sweet with toffee and fruits, still some carbonation missing. Aftertaste has slight lemon with caramel.

0.5 l bottle. Pours copper with beige head with nice lacing. Aroma is caramel malt, some hops. Slight hint of honey in the aroma, as well. Taste is full maltiness up front, some grassy and herbal bitterness, as well. Some lingering bittereness. Excellent and extremely well balanced for a lager.

Golden color, small white head. Malty, a bit woody-grassy-cardboard dry aroma. Medium-bodied. Mostly sweet malty with some faint grassy hoppy notes. Sweetish malty aftertaste. Propably a copy of Hartwall’s Legenda.

Clear amber colour with a lasting white head. Sweet grainy aroma with a light caramel note and hints of hops. caramel sweet flavor with a light fruity note. Sweet light dry finish.

Bottle. Amber colour with a big off-white head. Malty, fruity aroma and a swet fruity, hoppy taste. Medium body with a sweet light dry finish.

Bottled (name: Aldaris Legenda 1865). Copper coloured, big white foamy head, lacing. Aroma is mainly metallic and also some malts can be found. Flavour metallic, malty and quite skunky. Sticky palate. Not too pleasant. Aftertaste is hayish hoppy.

Bottled:
Dark golden color, fruity aroma with a malty nose. Light oxidized. Tast is malty, light sweet with oxidized notes and hidden fruit notes. Astringent bitter finish.
