5+ Typical kvass aroma, very sweet, fruity, and bready, but this had an unusual twist - I even got some bacon!
4 Deep red, small tan head
5+ Fairly unexceptional for a traditional kvass - all the breadiness and raisins you’d expect.
3+ Sweet, almost sticky palate, but with enough crispness in the carbonation to keep it refreshing. Finish very caramelly.
11 A solid kvass. Was a bit late in the afternoon, and we’d been chugging pints of beers for many hours by this stage. Should rerate.
Rerate: A little less interesting than before, perhaps it was colder and thus felt thinner and fizzier. Could drop 1 off overall and aroma I guess, but chose not to.
