Bottled, thanks SaintMatty! Brownish amber, firm head. Mid sweet with plenty of bready malt. Medium bodied with relaxes mouthfeel. Dominated by dough, low bitterness. Surprisingly nice.

courtesy of Per - pours a clear amber beer under a little beige foam left; the nose is dusty and herbal, medicinal; moderate malt backbone and a low carbonation; short and dry herbal and slightly vegetable-like finish - dubious

jak na Łotwę to zupełnie niezłe piwko. Fajna mięciutka woda, nieźle wchodzi choć niezbyt dobrze skomponowane nuty słodkie z gorzkimi i kwaśnymi.

In bottle. Pours a golden colour with a fair white head. Aroma of bready yeast, caramel and Ovaltine malt. Similar flavours. A little oily with mild carbonation and CO2 prickle. Light bitterness and a caramel linger.

Deep amber pour with a little bit of light malt sweetness. A bit of caramelly character along with a touch of soft fruitiness. Simple but not unpleasant. Reminds me of some Mexican examples. A little faint herbal flavour on the finish.

Bottle. red-brown amber color. Grassy aroma. Some malty, some hops. Light bitter finish. Not bad.

500ml Bottle - Dark amber/copper in colour. Malty aroma with hints of peanuts and caramel. Malty taste with caramel, a hint of dried fruit and a slight sweetness. Drinkable, but lacking any real bite and character.

500ml bottle (Petrol Station, middle of Latvia)
6 Massive honey aroma. Definitely aimed for the sweeter caramelly malts and something a little floral.
3 Mid orange, decent head.
5 Fairly bland lagery laste. Again a touch of honey. I feel let down after the aroma - expected more oomph.
3 Smooth palate, decent carbonation. Finish a little caramelly, but I swear I also get some wooliness.
10+ Good to see Aldaris do a decent lager. This does at least have a full grainy body, and enough taste to have a finish that lasts.
