Bottle...I think from my brother Beer_Hawk. Pours with a dark brown body topped by a thin head with some lacing. It’s slightly sweet and malty with a slight roasty note and a light bitterness. Medium to full bodied and smooth.

Black w/ nice, creamy beige head. Alcoholic, sweetish and burned aroma, little wood and fruitiness. Very sweet, a bit alcoholic flavor, molasses, soft burned malts, little dark chocolate in the finish. Medium bodied, very smooth palate. OK as dessert, but just not that satisfying.

Bottle. Pour is a cola-like brown with a bit of highlighting and a thin head that is all but gone in the time it has taken to type this. Aromas of clay, dust, cola, prunes and black cherries. In spite of the thin appearance, mouthfeel is heavy and syrupy and flavors are very sweet... almost a bit cloying. Maybe like Cherry Coke syrup (or at least flat Cherry Coke). Fruit is there, as is a cola like presence. This isn’t for me as it needs a little something (more alcohol or some more pronounced hops?) to balance out all of that sweet stickiness.

Mahogany hued beer with a fluffy beige head that left lots of stick lace on the glass. The nose had a strong raw grain note that reminded me of dried dog food, with a cola sweetness. This is a really sweet beer, with lots of cola, caramel, sweetened tea, and some white sugar. There is some roasted grain, a hint of chocolate and raisen, and an alcohol burn. It seems a little thin. I’m not a big fan of this one.
