Too sweet, muddled, misguided for the style. It is a shame because i was looking forward to it.

Pours dark brown with tan head. Aromas of toasted malts, caramel and molasses. Very sweet molasses flavor with some toasted malts and a slight metallic taste in the finish. Medium body with mild carbonation and a silky mouthfeel. Decent, but too sweet for me.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Brandman (969) - Helsinki, FINLAND - FEB 16, 2011
Old notes: Sweet, malty. Maybe little thin. Not as roasted as porter could be.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Rando7 (448) - Iowa, USA - FEB 14, 2011
Really enjoyed this one. 500 ml bottle pours black with thin tan head. Malty aroma with a little roast and caramel. Taste malts, caramel, molasses, maybe a bit of chocolate and dark fruits. Finish very clean and sweet with minimal hops. Smooth palate with moderate carbonation.
This isn’t as powerful as many Baltic Porters but is well balanced and I could see drinking more than one. I would call it more of a strong Porter if there is such a thing.

Gosh, this is a serious porter. There’s a great toasty kind of sweet malt to this beer. About the only thing they could do to improve it is just increase the flavor it has and maybe thicken up the palate a bit. Still, really good stuff.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 bkurtz (461) - PERU - FEB 1, 2011
1/2 L bottle- Poured dark, almost black with a decent head and some lacing. Toasted caramel malt, semi-sweet like molassis and smooth. My kind of dark beer.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 GT2 (3440) - Washington DC, USA - JAN 21, 2011
22oz. Pour is outstanding: a clear, deep cola with a massive, cream, coffee head with massive retention and huge lace. Pours perfectly like a coffee ice cream scoop sitting atop. Aroma of milk chocolate, latte, honey maple, sugary cherries, and florals. Taste up front is heavy metallic but thankfully moves to brown sugar, molasses, but still very sugary and salty. Palate is silky but then is interrupted by metals, sweat, salt. Still much better than I expected.
