Ungstrup (11031), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 9, 2004 A red-brown beer with a chocolate brown disappearing head. The aroma is slightly roasty with notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and candy sugar, leading up to a dry end. In my book this isn’t a porter, but closer to a Vienna, though it is still an OK beer. omhper (10393), Stockholm, Sweden Feb 3, 2002 Very dark brown. Sweet, some coffee aroma, medium bodied. Neiter clean nor complex. Papsoe (9980), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 31, 2006 (Bottle 50 cl) A dark, reddish brown beer with a bubbly, beige, dissipating head. Aroma of roasted malt and dried fruit. Fairly solid body, Starts rather sweet, but you quickly get the sense of some burned malt that also leave a fairly distinct bitterness. A very solid Porter. 300706 Oakes (6819), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Feb 3, 2002 Dark, toffeeish, tar-like nose; thick, chewy body, very sweet finish, turkish coffee. joergen (6240), Frederiksberg, Denmark Nov 2, 2005 Bottled.
