Bottled. Black opaque with mediumsized brown head. Leaves lacing. Aroma of roasted malt with fruitish hints. Also a bit of chocolate in aroma. Extremely lovely nose. Flavour mainly of roasted malt with a bit bitter finish.

Tea colour, strong malt aroma and flavour, well balanced. Honey and caramel notes. A bit too much carbonation. Enjoyable overall.

Tumshais - means "dark". Medium strong dark beer wich is not so good as Porteris, but Laidies aslo loves this beer.

Bottled. Pours a dark Mahogany brown, with a tan head. Aroma is sweet roasted malts. Taste is slightly sweet and roasted.

A deep red beer with a light brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of straw, while the flavor is sweet malty with a slight roastiness, leading to a dry end. But the body is thin.

Bottle. Red brown colour with a medium tan head. Light roasted raisin, bread aroma and a light roasted sweet dry fruity taste. Light body and a sweet finish.

(Bottle 50 cl) Beautiful chestnut brown with a warm, reddish glow. Creamy, beige head. Aroma of roasted malt. Very malty with distinct roasted notes - almost burned actually. 221005

Aroma: burnt toast and smoke. Dark brown color. Quite sweet, smoked flavor. Thin mouthfeel. Sticky finish.

Colour is almost pitch black with a small beige head. Aroma is a kombination of sweet fruity malt and some roasted malt with coffee. Aroma seems a bit chemical. Flavor is slightly sweet with some coffee.

Almost black colored, very big light brown head. Aroma has lot of chocolate. Roasted and mildly sweet caramel flavor, ends with biting hops and little carbonation feeling in tongue. Very nicely balanced brew. Body could be little stronger, still very good dunkel.
