COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Aldaris Zelta (Gold) is a classically brewed lager with a mild bitterness, hop flavor and pure malt taste.

Pour is a hazy gold with a huge white head. Aroma is thin with some slight malts showing up. Flavor is a little better. A thick feel is followed by some sweet grain and a nice biscuit on the aftertaste. Still a boring lager but a little thicker than the usual fare.

Bottle in Riga. Sweetish lager, too anonymous compared to the other beers available in Riga. Not bad, not offensive, just boring.

Bottle, poured a yellow gold with a white head, good carbonation. Some bitter hops on the pallet with light malt and grains. An average Lager but a little lacking.

(Latvia) Golden Yellow color with Med-White Head. Hints of Malt, with a Soapy finish. Nothing to get excited about but very drinkable!!!

Clear 500 ml bottle. I like the presentation: Embossed bottle with attractive cap and foil. Color is an apricot tinged gold, seems a little hazy. Pour left really geometrically interesting large bubbles in the bottle. A creamy white head is in the glass. Ripe fruit and grass aromas. Near medium body with soft carbonation. Very smooth, very clean. A little malt, some florality, and some grassiness. It’s very fresh and tasty. Unusual. The finish is nicely bittered. Leaves the mouth feeling clean.

Can. Golden clear colour with a big mostly lasting white creamish head. Aroma of grains and bitter hops. Flavour of some malt, bitter hops and grass. Mild bitterish finish.

Keg (Victory, Riga) Light orange, thin head. Decent potent light malt aroma, but a little sour funk spoils that. Does have a little body, but is disappointing. Better than many a pale lager though.

Bottle: POured mellow-yellow with a foamy white head. The aroma is quite sweet and soapy, like dish detergent. Presents itself as a bit stronger than 5.2%, a tad warming. But overall, this drinks quite smooth in the Euro-lager tradition ... a tad biscuity, but in a very mellow balanced way, with a kiss of continental hop at the finish. Underrated.
