Pale gold in color, nice head just weak (Josh does not know how to pour beer ...). Great stuff, in great place. It went so nice with that Blondie, to bad she did not want give us Ice Aldaris ... Ok, seriously light stuff, boring, not much to offer.

UPDATED: SEP 7, 2005 Bottle (500ml). Poured clear gold with a decent sized soapy white head. Very vegetal-grainy, but not too sour, not to corny - it’s even a bit perfumy and there is a grassy hop aroma too. Taste is a bit lemony, sweet but not malty, and fresh-cut clover. Light but okay. Not much going on palate-wise. Incredibly quick finish and no aftertaste. Easy to drink, not offensive - beats many generic euro/pale lagers.

Can from a trip to Toronto a couple months back. Pours a clear light straw yellow with a large white head. Skunky, pond scum, a bit of sweetness and old musty cardboard. Medium bodied, very sweet grain flavor. Tastes slightly better than it smells, but not much. Finishes up sweet and grainy. Not so good.

Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is medium yellow, thin density of small particles. Aroma is lightly hoppy (flowers, herbs), lightly malty (grain), with a note of solvent. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly bitter, slightly husky. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Too sweet, with some off-aromas/flavors.

Bottle: Pours a pale straw yellow color, nice carbonation and a relatively nice head and lots of lacing. The nose is dusty with a light rice vinegar note, fermented mango peel and plastic. The flavor is a bit sweet and malty with some lingering vague background bitterness making as much a fuss as a white painted room. Vague grainy rotten cucumber texture in the mouthfeel. Finishes sharp, chalky, acidic. Not that great.

This is an extremely pale Pale Lager. The aroma is sweetness and metallica. Actually doesn’t taste too bad, a sweet bready malt with a hint of grassy hops. The finish is an almost granular sugar sweet and coats the mouth with a tinny taste. Still, better than most BMCs.

(Can. Thanks to SaintMatty) Golden yellow colour with brief, frothy, white head. Malty nose with bread and tropical fruit. Malty, slightly sourish taste with noets of bread, pineapple, tropical fruit. Medium body, fairly sweet. Some grassy bitterness in the finish (eventually overshadowed by sweet malt). Better balance than the Luksus sampled at the same time, still not very impressive.

DuffMan (5186) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 1, 2010
Can. Standard clear yellow lager with an average unimpressive white head. Aroma is sweet corny grossness, like a malt likra without the petroleum essence lingering in the background. The palate is medium bodied, and way way too sweet without any bittering hops to dry things out. Plastic note in the finish. Blech.

Bottle in Riga. Sweetish lager, too anonymous compared to the other beers available in Riga. Not bad, not offensive, just boring.

Very pale in colour with rather big lively head. Aroma is very weak. Flavor starts off sweet and ends in a dry hoppy finish.
