500ml bottle (Stockmann, Riga)
5 Rich simple grainy aroma, verging on husky, a little eco. 3 Very deep caramelly colour, brief head.
4+ Doesn’t taste as competent as it smells, in fact there’s something decidedly odd about it. However, it’s clearly made of beer ingredients, so that’s better than nothing. Basically a odd mess of grains, some bitter huskiness and a touch of alcohol.
2+ Smooth palate, a little sweet, decent carbonation. Finish quite caramalty, and again, a mess of dry grains, a touch eco. Long finish is dry and a little bitter, a touch husky.
9 Something not so great about this - more through messiness than through actual flaws. Too filtered, to lifeless, and after that it’s also a touch sticky from the sweet palate. No disaster.

Bottle (50cl), bought in Riga. Clear copper colour. Moderately sized white head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of malt, caramel, cooked vegetables. Malty sweetish taste with a papery/watery/artificial finish which I do not fancy. Low bitterness. Medium/light body, soft/average carbonation.

Bottle. (thanks to SaintMatty) Dark amber with a small white head. Not as spicy as expected. Malt and some light notes of caramel. It felt a bit old, there was some taste of cardboard. Low carbonation.

500ml Bottle - Copper brown/red in colour. Fruity and lightly spiced aroma, with a hoppy hint. Lightly hoppy and fruity taste with spicy malt featuring along with a mild sweetness. The spices are noticeable but rather subtle and well balanced.

500 ml bottle. From Latvia. Nice clear amber colour with thin off-white head. Sweet ale-like caramel/toffee aroma. Sweet, caramel, herbed, Märzen-like flavour. Not bad at all. Strange to be first to rate.
