Poured a clear golden color with a thick off white head. Laced perfectly. Aroma of dough and light citrus. Taste had this great classic weizen taste but with notes of peaches and a thick creamy palate that finished with light hops. Very tasty.

500 ML bottle in Germany. Looks almost like a Kristal, light head that disappears quickly. Very nice aroma, a banana-berry mix. Taste is rosted banana and bread. Palate is not offensive and mild. A really good and different Hefe, borderline Kristal. Bravo

On tap at Pivni Lokal Ostry, Praha. Pours cloudy golden with a big creamy white head. Classic hefe aroma, banana and cloves. Taste is light sweet with a good citrussy middle, refreshing and moreish hefe.

(Aldersbacher Kloster Weisse Hell) Bottle 500 ml at home, served into a big weizen glass, ABV 5.5% Golden yellow to orange colour on the body, only a bit hazy, good activity in the glass. Tall and thick whit head, with very good retention, leaving light lacing behind. Aroma has lots of fresh bananas, grass, light clove and yeast. Tastes clean and crisp, again lots of banana, very fruity, some bubblegum on the finish. Medium body, with notable, biting carbonation. Much better than I expected, very good and refreshing.

50cl bottle at Ship & Mitre, Liverpool. Clear gold, which surprised me as I was expecting a typical cloudy weizen. Lasting cream head. Some weisse beer aroma. Light though. Some pale malt mised in with some estery banana. Softish in mouth. A mix of a helles and a weisse. Some lemon on finish. Lemon on finish is a bit lemon curdy and very nice. Only some hard metallic carbonation, but lovely overall. It’s great, so impressed with all the beers from this brewery I had this weekend. A helles/weisse cross. Not the full on weisse, but the helles is good and full enough to carry it.
