COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
For the "Hoagart'n" time, we want to revive this traditional custom with our Aldersbach "Kloster Weisse" special. This is a specially brewed, top-fermented wheat beer, full-bodied and pleasant to the taste. Only at "Hoagart'n" time from "Erntedank" (beginning of October) until Christmas. (Info from the homepage of the brewery)

50cl Bottle from bierkoning, as Königinneweisse Hell. Thanks Edo! Hazy yellow colour, white head. Aroma of citrus, wheat, yeast, hint of banana. Flavour is sweet, light citrus, wheat, dead yeast, plastic, light banana, light tart finish. Light-bodied. Not very good.

Trübes goldgelbes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, fruchtig, Nelke. Geschmack hefig, fruchtig nach Banane, leicht würzig.

Gewürznelke im Aroma samt Banane. Sehr viel Schaum auf gelb-braunem HW. Mittelkräftiger Körper. Im Geschmack auch zwischen Banane und Gewürznelke. Schöne Würze und gute Süffigkeit, gutes Woazn!

Bottle shared with McTapps. A bit too easy and too sweet weizen with some sweets / sugar in the dominance. Dull and only drinkable when the thirst hits you.

Bottle shared with MichaelBruch. Milky amber in colour with steady head and medium body. Taste of rich yeast, malt, bananas, clover and flowers. Okay-like but won’t drink it again.

Bottle: Golden, hazy, smaller creamy and stable white head with a little lace, bananas and necrotic yeast in the nose, covering tinge of glue;iight sweet-sourish flavour, light bodied, a bit fizzy; short sourish-sweetish finish, some bananas show up again. Average, thin Weizen…

UPDATED: DEC 16, 2012 Picked up a half liter bottle in a mixed Bavarian six pack, pours a think, but light head. Slightly cloudy in appearance (although not unfiltered), with ample carbonation. the usual culprits in taste for a weizen (bananas, bubble gum, clove). Although the cloudy appearance gives the impression of a heavy beer, it is still very lightweight, and drinkable. Per the label, this won a 2011 prize (DLG?) Not a bad weizen from this small brewery.

It’s unclear copper with a huge, creamyand lasting head. The aroma has notes of yeast, fruit and wheat. The flavor is sweet with notes of overripe fruit, alcohol, yeast and wheat, and the finish is slightly spicy.

bottle as Königinnen-Weiße hell. Cloudy yelow, large white head. Yeasty and wheaty with a nice fruity touch, hints of banana and tropical fruit and a fruity sourish background. Very smooth palate. Goooood!

500 ml bottle picked up at a store in Idar-Oberstein, Germany. Pours a hazy gold color with a thick off-white foamy head. Aroma is bubblegum, bananas, cloves and more spices. This is a fantastic armoa. Taste is a mellow spicy wheat, cloves again and slightly baked bananas at the end. Palate is smooth flavorfull and pleasant and ends a bit dry. A super and different Hefe.
