2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Koelschtrinker (7034) - Köln (Cologne), North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - JUL 6, 2011
Test vom 20.1.2007 Noten: 7,7,7,10,9,7 - 7,55

Bottled. A light gold coloured beer with no head. A nice toasty lager with some buttery malts in the aroma. Decent hops in the flavour, but it’s that toastiness which raises it above most Helles. Enjoyed it.

Bottle picked up from Dodgy Deli’ Cowley Road, Oxford tasted much more like a Helles than the Augustiner that I had earlier. Golden in colour, white foamy head. Malt and grains in the aroma, soft tasting, some sweetness, easy drinking, malts quite pronounced tasty.
