Bottle. Poured a clear dark orange color. The head was tall, creamy, and off white with excellent retention and lacing. Immediately after pouring it smelled very fruity ala citrusy hops. After sitting the glass for a minute or two some malty caramel, graham, and toasted bread emerged. Light to medium bodied and slightly sweet with mild to moderate hop bitterness. Tasted of caramel, orange blossom, and a hint of unripe apricot. Not bad

Had on tap at the brewpub. A very solid and tasty IPA that can easily compete with some of the big dogs. This place is great and will be coming around soon...

The most intense beer I’ve ever tried up to this point. Wow! Aroma of hops and citrus fruit. Flavor of grapefruit and hops. I really enjoyed this.

(12oz bottle, thanks CaptainCougar) Small off-white head atop hazy dark amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, orange/mango, some peach, pineapple. Taste is moderately sweet, orange, some pineapple, mango, light biscuit. Medium body, some resin. Alcohol hardly noticeable.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 nuplastikk (3274) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 22, 2009
Draft at the brewpub. Brown-orange color. Foamy, soapy head. All out Amarillo aroma, very nice. Hop taste is in your face too, quite a big Amarillo blast. Strawlike bitter and dry notes. Some citrus too. Very well done.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Bockyhorsey (2607) - Mesa, Arizona, USA - JUN 2, 2009
Bottle bought @Riley’s in Madison early may. More malt noticable for aroma and some citrus. Cloudy copper body with off white head. Thicker malt dominated the flavor and took away the crispness that is present in an ipa. Heavy on the palate this beer seemed to have lost some zip.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 JaBier (3729) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - MAY 31, 2009
Bottle shared by Ogglethorp. Cloudy amber pour with a thin beige head. Citrus hop aroma that is a bit rusty and a tad too piney. Earthy hop flavor, but overly vegetable-ish.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 beernbourbon (1146) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - MAY 26, 2009
Thanks to CaptainCougar for this bottle. Pour is a deep cloudy orange with a smallish white head. Aroma is malt, pine hops, citrus (grapefruit) hops, a touch of caramel, and some floral notes. Flavor is dominated by the hops, but in a good way. The malt mellows out the hops without being a dominating presence. The finish is a bit more malty however, with caramel notes brushing up alongside the citrus hop character. Malt comes through more as it warms, but still a hop driven beer, as one would expect from an IPA. A very rich IPA, good stuff.
