COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This American-style IPA has a mountain of Amarillo hops for explosive citrus aromas and aggressive bitterness with no metallic aftertaste. Ballistic is all natural and unfiltered for superior flavor and quality. It is brewed with passion and is best enjoyed that way.

Pint served out on the patio. The pour was a hazy, orangy copper color, with decent, off white, bubbly foam to the head, and clingy ribbons of lacing. The aroma was heavy graininess, substantial malt, resiny pine, and some mid-fruit sweetness. The mouthfeel had a nice creaminess to it, as the flavor added slight caramel hints to the mix, but also an odd, briney, astrigency to the finish.

Compliments of Brian Da Beer Pimp, poured a lovely and cloudy dark amber. Aroma immediate of pines, malts. The flavour was upfront pine resin with a hop bomb bitterness. Malt comes in to balance the floral bitterness. Wow, what an incredible IPA, could drink this regularly. Thanks Bri

Draught at the pub. Pours a deep copper amber with a creamy off-white head. Full, slightly sweet resinous piney hop aroma. Flavor is dryly bitter with a bit of sugary sweetness. Overall could use a little punch but quaffable and with a nice lingering dryness.

Tab at brewery. Dark golden-orange with reddish hues. Aroma is juicy ctirus hops (amarillo). Nicely balanced flaovr with plenty of requisite hops and a little caramel malt backbone. Nicely done.

Thanks to Josh. Poured an orange amber with a smaller sized off white head. Aroma was very fruity and generally a nice hop aroma. Amarillo really coming across in the nose. Flavor was more of the citrusy hop bomb, some toasted/caramel malt to help balance. Love the Amarillo

12oz bottle shared thanks to Josh. Poured a medium amberish color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas toastiness, floral hops, and some citrus. Tastes of citrus, floral, and lighter caramel.

Outstanding IPA from Ale Asylum. all components are suped up but the bitterness and crispness stay true to the basic IPA style. Personally I don’t mind when an IPA gets sweet in order to match a big hop content and beef up the ABV, but Ballistic IPA manages to do that while keeping that crisp bitterness- You don’t see that too often- nice job

Pours orange with white head, aroma is huge citrus and piny hops. Taste up front is indicative of hop bursting, with a huge citrus taste leading into a bit of sweet malt and finishes a bit sweet and a bit bitter. Really good tastes, but lacks in bitterness and complexity at the end.

Pours a clear copper color with a thick white head, good bubbles. Definite hop aroma, citrusy, where’s the malt? Yummy hop flavor. Medium body, dry finish, definite hop bitterness. I did not know this ale had amarillo hops, I enjoy these hops, so that is why I like this IPA. Wow, nicely done. For the style, maybe this ranks low, but if you are a hop head, this one is for you.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of over ripe fruits, hops, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet malt combined with notes of over ripe fruits, leading to a dry, alcoholic, and bitter hoppy finish. Thanks CaptainCougar for coming to Denmark and sharing this.
