COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This American-style IPA has a mountain of Amarillo hops for explosive citrus aromas and aggressive bitterness with no metallic aftertaste. Ballistic is all natural and unfiltered for superior flavor and quality. It is brewed with passion and is best enjoyed that way.

Pours medium amber that leans more towards a green color and cloudier than the Hopalicious. It's an okay IPA but the flavors are muddled. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Really great American IPA from Ale Asylum. These guys can’t do anything wrong but this one is one of my favorites. Lots of pine with a hint of bubblegum then a very clean finish.

Hazy amber beer with one finger of white head. Aroma is dense with pine, resin. and a whole lot of citrus and a hint of caramel. Taste is sweet malt with a bit of fruit and a crisp delicious finish. Awesome beer

Bottled. Citrus aromas, aggressive bitterness. This beer is perfect to drink with a meat and cheese charcuterie board.

Pours a darker golden color. Aroma of grass and pine, some citrus as well. Resin and grassy notes on the palate. Unfiltered gives it some substance in the mouthfeel. Has a little bite to it.

Great easy drinking ipa. Not as good as the Satisfaction Jackson though. Still, a must drink

UPDATED: MAR 11, 2014 While on my visit to Minnesota and Wisconsin, my in-laws drove my wife and I to Madison WI to visit grandpa Harry. We stopped off at a Piggly Wiggly. .. and their beer selection was stellar. I had to get something local, so I chose this IPA. It?s delicious. Pours a copper color, with a nice citrus melon scent. It’s also sweet with resin tones, yet dry and crisp at the end. Very good. Cheer!

This one poured a darker orange color with an off white head. Aroma was of herbal and green hops, and caramel. Flavor was bitter hops, not much hop flavor and matly sweetness. Either not too great, or old.

Bottle. Pours a deep copper color with a big off white head. Aromas (and taste) is dominated by sweet caramel malt. Lacking of citrus or pine. Too malty for me.

12oz. bottle. Unknown age, the bottle says Best Enjoyed By, then has a blank white space. Floral, fruity and lightly sweet aroma, with notes of orange, grapefruit, lemon and faint honey, some mild toast, vanilla and pine as well. Hazy burnt orange in color with a lasting, sticky, creamy head and lacing to match. Flavor profile is nicely hopped, plenty of juicy citrus present throughout, along with suggestions of tropical fruit, grass, lightly pale malt toast and caramel sweetness, and finishing with a moderately bitter hop punch. Smoothly effervescent and refreshing on the palate with very fine carbonation and a medium body. This is a nice IPA.

Tap. Amber pour with off white head. Smells of hops, toffee and caramel. Tastes of hops and toasted malts but not much bitterness from the hops. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
