COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A chaotic blend of Citra hops and Trappist-style yeast give this IPA aromas of summer fruit and a bright hop presence with a plush finish. Bedlam is all natural and unfiltered for superior flavor and quality. It is brewed with passion and is best enjoyed that way.

Sampled at the Hampton. Hazed gold. I smell pleasant floral hops. Taste them, too. This is nicely balanced and quite nice to drink.

12 oz. bottle pours a cloudy orange color with floating yeast, average off-white head, and spotty lacing. The complex aroma made me wake up and say wow after trying so many run-of-the-mill IPAs in the last year. This one is full of tropical fruits: mango, pineapple, and clementine overpower the funkiness sometimes called "cat piss", but the latter goes away as it warms up. The spices and yeast keep this far from being an average IPA, and there are just enough sweet malts for good balance. Taste is initially bitter and fruity with a sweet middle and dry finish. Body is at least medium with perfect carbonation and a creamy, sticky mouthfeel. I’m kicking myself from not picking up a six pack or two of these on my last trip through Madison. This would be a regular favorite of mine if it were available year round or where I live.

UPDATED: APR 14, 2013 Has out of a bottle, poured a rich amber hue with a strong fruit aroma and a hint of good stankiness!! Medium head with good lacing. Very tasty not overbearing with hint of fruit and a hop finish.

Poured a hazy dark copper with aromas of spicy orange and fruit and a yeasty bready alcohol. Taste is complex with a mix of bitter sweetness. Not as crisp of a finish as I would have wanted but overall an amazing beer.

Great taste and aroma. Color is visually appealing. One of the best India Pale Ales I have had.

Hazy orange - amber beer, tidy white head. Light palate, a little dry. Nice sweet tangerine and clementine. Peach and pineapple too! A touch of mango joins the party before the light semi dry finish. Love this combination of citra hops and Belgian yeast!

Have had both the tap and the bottle, but the draft always stands out to me. This has turned into one of my go to beers of the summer. So good and SO drinkable. I will drink this almost anytime I see it.

Unreal. Just cracked a bottle from my winter stash, and still great. Heavy Grapefruit Mango aroma to go with orange opaque pour / thin tan head. Crisp citrus taste and solid hoppy backbone. Belgian yeast gives it a mellow sweetness that sends it over the top. Top notch.

On tap at the brewery. Comes cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma of grass, pine, and citrus. Taste is pine, tropical fruits, malt, and spices. Very good.
