Tap at the brewery. Pours dark gold and hazy. Nice Belgian yeasty nose with milder piney hop profile. Lovely blend of the Belgian yeast with the hops not overpowering them. Well done.

First of all, I am not an IPA fan at all. I grabbed it by mistake and tried it to not completely waste money. For an IPA, not too bad. I made it past 4 sips, that really good for an IPA.

Thanks Santa! This beer was intense, starting off with a killer nose. Plenty of fresh fruit, tons of citrus and light spice notes. Flavor followed, juicy and grapefruity. Bitter and sharp. Very refreshing. Really enjoyed this one!

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
hazy orange pour with white head. aroma is mostly citrus, pineapple, and tropical fruits. taste is the same, with some light hop bitterness and light sweetness; finishes with gently bitter piney hops. overall, very nice - the sweetness is light and not overbearing, and the belgian yeast is pretty mild but provides some needed balance. not sickly sweet and malty like some of these beers tend to be.

Draft at the brewpub. A sexy bronze beast. This is a big, malty-yeasty thing with a Belgo-background and a nice orange-hoppy twist. Big body. Warming mouthfeel, exceptional balance. (#5113, 7/2/2014)

12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a slightly hazy dark orange with a half finger of white head. Aroma of huge amounts of citrus. Tropical, tangerine and pineapple. Taste is light bitter. Citrus and slight pine. Medium bodied with a slightly creamy texture. Lively carbonation and a long finish. Overall, awesome. Another quality brew from ale asylum.
