COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A chaotic blend of Citra hops and Trappist-style yeast give this IPA aromas of summer fruit and a bright hop presence with a plush finish. Bedlam is all natural and unfiltered for superior flavor and quality. It is brewed with passion and is best enjoyed that way.

Hazy copper with a creamy long lasting head. Aroma is hop forward, pineapple, pony, a little sweet malt poking through, some fruitiness may come from yeast but not obvious. Hops is a little grassy in flavor but finishes with smooth assertive bitterness. Nice smooth mouthfeel. Wouldn't be able to identify it as a Belgian yeast in a blind taste test.

Nice looking reddish amber beer that settles in sheets before forming a thick foamy white head that lasts.Nose of sour yeast with some pleasing grapefruit pith and pine resin. Flavor explodes with the same grapefruit and pine that mirrors the aroma and then burns in delicious hoppy bitterness for the aftertaste. Potent stuff, but not overpowering. A pleasant surprise.

Bottle. Orange/tropical fruit, Belgian yeast, spicy-fruity citrus hops aroma. Hazy golden orange with a moderate ivory head. Tangerine, mango, yeast, orange peel, spicy-grassy-citrus hops flavor. Body on the lighter side of medium, soft carbonation.

(bottle) Pours a semi-hazy dark orange color with a medium white head that settles to a thin cap. Aroma is weird. wild. stuff. Peaches, bath soap, braunschweiger dip, some tropical fruits, juicy fruit gum, and banana. Itís weird in a kind of good way. The flavors are a little more normal, with orange and peach being the most dominant fruit flavor, but this is quickly followed by a drying hit of spicy yeast and hops that carries well on into the finish. The spice is somewhat clove-like. The Juicy Fruit gum makes a repeat appearance as well. Overall, this was a complex beer that was semi-enjoyable to drink. Iíd probably drink one again if offered.

\\\Bottle. Pours a hazy deep rich copper color. Thin white head leaves some spotty lacing. Aroma does not remind me of a Belgian but it is nice; full of grapefruit-mango-citrus. Taste is aggresive piney-citrus hops. A bit light on the Belgian yeast element AKA nothing too funky. A bit strong for a session-able, but Iíd try. Iím friggin loviní this!

Tasted this on tap at the 8th Street Ale Haus in Sheboygan, Wisconsin so I didnít get great notes. Ugh, way too piney. Not my style.

Sampled at DLD 2013. It poured a hazy yellow color with a white head. The aroma was nice spicy, earthy hops with some yeast. The taste was nice earthy, spicy, piny, resinous hops leading to a biscuit, banana, spice yeast character finishing nice and bitter. Very tasty.
