COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A chaotic blend of Citra hops and Trappist-style yeast give this IPA aromas of summer fruit and a bright hop presence with a plush finish. Bedlam is all natural and unfiltered for superior flavor and quality. It is brewed with passion and is best enjoyed that way.

Unreal. Just cracked a bottle from my winter stash, and still great. Heavy Grapefruit Mango aroma to go with orange opaque pour / thin tan head. Crisp citrus taste and solid hoppy backbone. Belgian yeast gives it a mellow sweetness that sends it over the top. Top notch.

Great taste and aroma. Color is visually appealing. One of the best India Pale Ales I have had.

Couldn’t like this beer anymore! Great use of trappist yeast to really balance out the finish on this beer. Got a ton of great hoppy flavor with some really nice citric notes to it but the yeast really smooths out the finish in a really nice and refeshing way. Thank you Ale Asylum keep them coming!

UPDATED: MAR 12, 2014 Had it out of a bottle, poured a rich amber hue with a strong fruit aroma and a hint of good stankiness!! Medium head with good lacing. Very tasty not overbearing with hint of fruit and a hop finish. This is the first beer I have had to re-rate three time. It’s like a forbidden love that keeps getting better.

One of the best IPA’s in taste. Crisp, and light yet hearty. The aroma is fabulous.

UPDATED: FEB 13, 2014 Tasted on tap at Ale Asylum. Bright hop aroma and taste. Hazy orange color with a white head. Very tasty. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone 02/13/14: Now that I’ve been able to enjoy this beer in bottles, in Chicago, I have edited my rating.

Draft at the brewpub. A sexy bronze beast. This is a big, malty-yeasty thing with a Belgo-background and a nice orange-hoppy twist. Big body. Warming mouthfeel, exceptional balance. (#5113, 7/2/2014)

Love me a good ipa but during summer months, this ipa would be perfect. Nice citrus flavor but still good and hoppy

The hops of this brew make up a solid backbone, but the faint maltiness at work, profound taste of citrus, and decidedly "floral’ (think rose-petal tea) notes are excellent. Much different than the mediocre IPAs a lot of breweries come up with. The smell is wonderfully fragrant and rich, the dark-gold pour is accompanied by a thickly laced off-white head, and the beer is extremely smooth going down. For IPA lovers, this one is a little bit different, but is quite the excellent offering.

Smells of hoppy fruit, even sweetness. Great mouthfeel not too carbonated, with bready maltiness. Fantastic hybrid
