COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A chaotic blend of Citra hops and Belgian-style yeast give this IPA aromas of passion fruit, a bright hop flavor and a plush finish.

"Gotta love the Citra hop. I was pretty unaware myself, that this brew was out. But I spotted it at the store and picked up one to try it out. Pours a bright orange amber, very litte head. Nice lacing though. Quite sticky. Aroma is sweet, like pineapple and mango fruit. Taste is spicey, floral and semi sweet. Tart finish, that ends a bit abruptly. "

Bottle. Orange-amber color with thick off-white head. Resiny-pine aroma with citrus notes. Sweet citrus flavor with resiny bitterness. Sweet, long finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Smooth and creamy mouthfeel with initial pine cone hop notes that lead into flavors of tropical passion fruit and mango above spicy Belgian yeasts. Finishes on an intense grassy hop note that lingers with a lot of bitterness and a bit of heat.

From a bottle. Foamy head, bright Orange color. Interesting aroma, vaguely Belgian spice. A bit forgettable, frankly. Nothing remarkable about the flavor, hops a bit overwhelmed by the spice.

Bottle via trade, pours lightly hazy orange color with medium head. Notes are pine, grass, citrus, and spice. A little hot but drinkable still. Finishes pretty dang dry and bitter. Don’t like Belgian IPAs in general cause Belgian yeast doesn’t Belong with my American dank hops but this was solid.

"packed with aroma and flavor...toeing the line of some dbl ipas. huge citrus and pine aroma with just a touch of yeast. some yeasty fruit esters also make their presence known in the flavor, with a bit of a dry finish, but it’s the big juicy hops up front. a tasty smooth brew, courtesy of pfoxyjohn."

On tap at Ale Asylum. Pours a clear light orange with a thick white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, grassy hops, garlicky hops, light fruits. Flavor of lots of garlicky and grassy hops up front, followed by citrus, tropical fruits, and light fruits. Very hop forward and fruity. Some light fruits and peppery spices make up the Belgian presence. Very delicious! 8/4/8/4/15 (3.9/5)

Bright, amber tinted orange. Powdery, sweet nose with cotton candy and honey sugars layering the garlic, passion fruit and lime zest of the citra core. Bathroom floor alcohol is only momentary. Golden kiwi blends with the gentle heat.

The flavor is well written with crisp candy sugars mingling with the bright fruits. The moments of resinous, dank greenness throughout are extremely pleasant in their balancing capability, and these become more prevalent as the sugars gracefully fade. The quality here is revealing itself slowly and elegantly.

Clingy palate with high citrus acid. Surprisingly clean through the mid palate. Punchy sugars just dance wistfully away. The progression here is impressive. The artful touch of yeast is evident in this way, if it is mostly too hard to find for this to be truly memorable.

Great beer. Great aroma love the citric taste to it. It makes for a great summer beer. Yet another great beer from Ale Asylum.

Bottle. Dark gold/amber pour, off-white head. Aroma of ester, citrus/grassy hop, caramel, orange candy. Taste is lightly bitter, fruity, grassy, a bit sweet. Palate is drier, slick, sweet finish.

Sample at the brewpub. Hazy bronze-amber color with a medium white head that diminishes steadily to a film. Partial rings of lacing. Aroma of hops, citrus and malt. Medium body with flavors of spicy hops, grapefruit and sweet malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hops aftertaste. Above average overall.
