Middling at best porter. Finish and aftertaste is probably admirable aspect, but is not one to bother with.

This one was under the label of "DisPORTERly Conduct". Very nice dark mahogany (but clear) ale with little head. Good roasty burnt flavor along with chocolate. A bit watery perhaps, but a nice offering nonetheless.

Pours a nice dark brown. Aroma is chocolate with caramel hints. It’s a flatter tasting porter but that’s why I like it more than most porters. It’s easy to drink, less filling, and not as thick and in your face as others. Tastes good to boot.

On tap at the brewpub on 6/22/07: Pours a barely transparent dark mahogany with a lightly lacing dense tan head. Sweet lightly sugary caramel malty nose has some roasted malt and mild butterscotch. Body starts fairly full with well-dissolved CO2 and some sticky caramel malt along with a touch of milk chocolate toward a slightly thinner, lightly toasted nutty finish. Could use a little more malty sweetness and body.
