3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 WallyWalrus (205) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - AUG 12, 2007
12oz bottle. Pours a clear, pale amber with very little head and high carbonation. Smell is sweet and hoppy with notable peach notes. Taste is medium-bodied with a dominant malt and grain flavor ending with a subtler hoppy finish. Ale Aslyum has more intriguing offerings, but this is still a solid ale.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 Elizavyeta (110) - Minnesota, USA - AUG 12, 2007
A relatively crisp, clean pour with generous carbonation and very little head, but sadly lacking in flavor. While initially a bit peachy, these flavors quickly give way to a wheat flavor and almost no finish.
Would be ideal paired along side of spicy food.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 hopdog (7657) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 23, 2007
On tap at the Ale Asylum Brew Pub. Poured a light yellow color with a small sized white head. Aromas and tastes of your generic blond ale. Grainy with a light malt sweetness. Nothing really standing out and quite boring compared to the other beers they had on tap!

This poured yellow witha decent head. The aroma show some malt and then offers a balanced bitter, sweet, and crisp offering.

12oz bottle bonus via trade from somebody. Pours yellow and clear with a 2 finger fading bright white head. Aroma is slightly sweet. The taste is slightly bitter with a touch of sweetness. There is a bit of maltiness. Its an ok brew, not great incredibly light.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 troyc (2014) - Oklahoma, USA - MAY 22, 2007
(Tap) Pours a golden color with a nice looking white head. Sweet malt dominates the aroma. Taste includes wheat, light grain, and a nice amount of hops at the end. Good mouthfeel and body. Excellent lacing as well. For the style, this is an outstanding beer!
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Silphium (2972) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - MAY 1, 2007
Bottle. Hazy sediment-laden light yellow-orange body, thin off-white head. Biscuity aroma with lemony notes, yeasty. Wet socks underneath the more pleasant components. Light bready, lemony body, dominated by yeast, the light sweet malt and grassy hops subtle.

bottle. Pours a hazy straw, a bit of sediment floaters. Thin white head. Aroma of yeasty bread or old socks maybe some hay. Soft on the tongue, leaves a faint memory of Belgium.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Skyview (5023) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - APR 9, 2007
UPDATED: JUN 5, 2009 Another group of bottles from this brewpub to bring back to Minnesota. Pours a cloudy pale golden honey with a white foamy head. Aroma of banana, walnuts, wheat and peppery hops. Taste of banana, stone ground wheat, and some spice. A bit watery aftertaste but better than your average golden ale.

Thanks to Skyview for sharing. This isn’t bad. Probably the best blond ale I have had. Cloudy gold color, minimal head. Aroma and flavor are of fermenting grain, which actually works for this beer.
