(Tap) Pours a golden color with a nice looking white head. Sweet malt dominates the aroma. Taste includes wheat, light grain, and a nice amount of hops at the end. Good mouthfeel and body. Excellent lacing as well. For the style, this is an outstanding beer!

Bottle. Hazy sediment-laden light yellow-orange body, thin off-white head. Biscuity aroma with lemony notes, yeasty. Wet socks underneath the more pleasant components. Light bready, lemony body, dominated by yeast, the light sweet malt and grassy hops subtle.

bottle. Pours a hazy straw, a bit of sediment floaters. Thin white head. Aroma of yeasty bread or old socks maybe some hay. Soft on the tongue, leaves a faint memory of Belgium.

UPDATED: JUN 5, 2009 Another group of bottles from this brewpub to bring back to Minnesota. Pours a cloudy pale golden honey with a white foamy head. Aroma of banana, walnuts, wheat and peppery hops. Taste of banana, stone ground wheat, and some spice. A bit watery aftertaste but better than your average golden ale.

Thanks to Skyview for sharing. This isnít bad. Probably the best blond ale I have had. Cloudy gold color, minimal head. Aroma and flavor are of fermenting grain, which actually works for this beer.

Light, hazy yellow color with no head. Faint aroma of honey. Very floral taste with a grainy finish. On the moderate side, but definitely a good Golden Ale.

California blonde color. Faint peach in the nose. Dirty grain and a little peach in the body.

12oz no date. Pours a hazy bright yellow with a minimal white head fading to a film. Aroma of old corn, some sweet malts, light floral hops, and a bit of dirtiness. There is a bit of tang in the flavor with corny grain and a little dirt in the finish. I donít know if there was any bitterness at all in there. Minimal carbonation and a light body.

auerbrau (3164) - Peace Dale, Rhode Island, USA - JAN 30, 2007
Light lemon grain husk aroma. Mildly sweet and a touch wheaty. Some salty japanese cuisine notes. Pours a middle gold, clearish, with a rocky soap of white. Flavor is a bit sticky with some lighting metallic ringing, before moving into a sweeter, subtler apples and pears malt sugar run. Again, faint grains and mild sweetness. A tinge of hop dust brightens up the smack. Not terrible, not a winner. Thanks Brigadier!

UPDATED: AUG 3, 2007 Not quite on par with the others Iíve tried from this brewer but still quite good. Well balanced in an unusual way I have trouble articulating. The sweet malt end just fits with the hop/citrus/spice end.
