Draft sample. Poured hazy yellow color with an average white frothy head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate hop, yeast and malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium balanced flavor with a medium balanced finish of moderate duration. Good drinkable starter brew.

On tap at the Ale Asylum Brew Pub. Poured a light yellow color with a small sized white head. Aromas and tastes of your generic blond ale. Grainy with a light malt sweetness. Nothing really standing out and quite boring compared to the other beers they had on tap!

On tap at the brewery tasting room. Mild hop bitterness. A transition beer. Soapy head on yellow. Decent enough drinkability for the summer. Avoidable for their more bolder tasting beers. Middling mouthfeel.

On tap at Ale Asylum. Poured a hazy, lighter golden with a short white head and some lacing. Nose was of grains and husk... some lemony notes... really quite pleasant actually. Flavor was of corn husk and grains.. sharp lemon and wheaty tartness around the tongue. On the palate the tart notes were well-placed and the carbonation was a tad high... solid, refreshing brew.

7oz on tap at the brewpub. Mostly clear yellow color, mildly hazy. Thin off-white head. Leaves great, thicker lace. Medium body. Smooth, kind of crisp, lighter carbonation. Light slick texture, light dry in the finish. Good mouthfeel to it. Good bready biscuity aroma, hint of lemon citrus, lightly peppery. Light spicy earthy citrus hop. Moderate bitter taste, light sweet. Solid, satisfying golden ale. Well done.

Tap at the brewpub. Clear yellow pour with a clingy white head. Aroma of grass and mild hop. Medium smooth palate. Wow - frickin’ good! This is their "default pale" beer? Grass, malt, light hop flavor - good stuff.

5/22/10. On tap at the brewpub in a pint glass. Pours cloudy off-yellow with a small white head. The aroma is very light - just a hint of cream and not much else. The flavor is corny and buttery, very caramelly for a blonde - possibly some diacetyl? Not great. Hopalicious, please!
