Breadlike yeasty smell, light body, good amount of carbonation, sweet and dry finish. A very well balanced, delicious, refreshing ale.

A nice crisp blonde ale, with lean, crackery malts, and an assertive hop bite on the back end - a little bready through the middle, but mostly clean and refreshing, with a nice peppery kick to it - finishes dry - there are a lot of people hating on this beer, but I really liked it.

12 oz bottle purchased at the brewery tasting room. Slightly hazy, golden color with bubbly white head. Light malty cereal grain aroma with a touch of hay and spucy hops. Delicious fresh malty cereal grain and pineapple flavors. Light and fruity on the tongue. Tasty golden.

(Tap) Pours a golden color with a nice looking white head. Sweet malt dominates the aroma. Taste includes wheat, light grain, and a nice amount of hops at the end. Good mouthfeel and body. Excellent lacing as well. For the style, this is an outstanding beer!

UPDATED: AUG 3, 2007 Not quite on par with the others I’ve tried from this brewer but still quite good. Well balanced in an unusual way I have trouble articulating. The sweet malt end just fits with the hop/citrus/spice end.

Light, hazy yellow color with no head. Faint aroma of honey. Very floral taste with a grainy finish. On the moderate side, but definitely a good Golden Ale.

Enjoyed on tap as part of a sampler at Ale Asylum in Madison, WI. Appearance is a light pale yellow, thin white rim. Aroma of ale yeast, light straw. Taste nice and crisp, light, good, nothing out of the ordinary, just a standard but good blonde ale.

Bottle. Hazed light straw color with a snowy white head. Looks a bit like a wit. Mild citric and spice scent with hints of orange blossom honey and sweet pale malts. Something is slightly amiss as there is a mild soap/cleaner aroma as well. A light crisp tasting brew, that has just enough thickness in body not to seem watery, Perhaps some malto dextrin, which may explain some of the scents/flavors. Lightly floral hops flavors dance about with the citric hops and are joined late by simple pale malt. Simple, with enough complexity to be an honest brew. This would be great by the lake on a hot summer night.

This was the nakedest beer that they have. It pours to a watery light golden body with a thin white head. The aroma is pineapples and crisp light grain. The flavor is crisp, clean, refreshing pineapple, and has a spicy/peppery kick. The palate has substance. Nice mouthfeel that is crisp, clean, and refreshing. I’d say that this one is very well made.
