3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 gws57 (1231) - Saint Charles, USA - FEB 5, 2008
Had this one on draught at Angelic Brewing Company in Madison, Wisconsin. Cloudy, light yellow pour with a thick, white head, grape and fruit in the nose, light and fruity throughout, but balanced. Faint finish.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 dionysus (1443) - Arizona, USA - FEB 25, 2012
On tap @ Asylum. Pour is yellow gold with a white head. Aroma is grainy bread and grassy hops. Flavor shows pretty much the same with a stray floral note from time to time. Overall body is moderate and the finish is lightly bitter. Not a whole lot going on with this one, and easily the least impressive brew I’ve had from Ale Asylum to date.

Enjoyed on tap as part of a sampler at Ale Asylum in Madison, WI. Appearance is a light pale yellow, thin white rim. Aroma of ale yeast, light straw. Taste nice and crisp, light, good, nothing out of the ordinary, just a standard but good blonde ale.
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 hombrepalo (1401) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 3, 2012
6oz sample. Clear gold pour with lasting white bubbles. Nose of gold raisin, old grain, salty and paper. Taste is salty, old grain and paper as well.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Sammy (6113) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 7, 2011
On tap at the brewery tasting room. Mild hop bitterness. A transition beer. Soapy head on yellow. Decent enough drinkability for the summer. Avoidable for their more bolder tasting beers. Middling mouthfeel.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 BVery (2536) - Burnsville, Minnesota, USA - SEP 5, 2011
Tap at the brewpub. Clear yellow pour with a clingy white head. Aroma of grass and mild hop. Medium smooth palate. Wow - frickin’ good! This is their "default pale" beer? Grass, malt, light hop flavor - good stuff.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Tmoney99 (7294) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 18, 2011
Draft sample. Poured hazy yellow color with an average white frothy head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate hop, yeast and malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium balanced flavor with a medium balanced finish of moderate duration. Good drinkable starter brew.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 TheAlum (3277) - Lisle, Illinois, USA - FEB 23, 2011
Sampled on tap at the brewpub (Madison, WI). Pours a nice lightly glowing straw hue, yellow with a touch of bready yeast. Lingering grainy malts, cereal grains, a touch of grass but lingering sweet grainy malts, some popcorn and sourdough. Pretty clean, with some bready dough, a touch of prickly carbonation. Some residual adjunctiness, but overall a clean Golden ale, light bodied with a touch of prickly carbonation. Simple yet sufficient
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 arkurzynski (846) - West Bend, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 31, 2010
On tap at brewery. Nothing too exciting here. Typical blonde ale. Straw to gold in color. Pale malts dominate nose, with some floral hops. Flavor is malty and sweet with some very mild bitterness on the tail end.
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 JaBier (3212) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - NOV 5, 2010
Sample at the brewpub on 10/16/10. Clear yellow pour with a medium white head. Malty and corny nose with not much else going on. Flavor is malty with a bit of crisp hop.
3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Scubatrip (559) - Annandale, Virginia, USA - AUG 23, 2010
On tap at the brewery, pours a clear golden with a nice head and lacing. Nothing too special to it, just light and malty. Probably the best blonde ale I’ve had (compared to the sacrificial budllercoors beers of most brewpubs).
