3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 savnac (1467) - Anchorage, USA - NOV 8, 2011
On tap @ Ale Asylum. Amber with a creamy head that leaves lots of lacing. Lots of sweetness in this one, caramel and toffee with some spicy yeast notes. Finishes bready with some residual sweetness. Pretty good beer, took a while to get through it though.

Enjoyed on tap as part of a sampler at Ale Asylum in Madison, WI. Appearance is a murky light brown with a thin white head. Aroma of slight spice, nothing much else. Taste is alright, kind of light, spice comes out a little, not bad.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 nuplastikk (2606) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 21, 2011
Draft at AA. Amber-brown-red with a steady off-white/beige head. Clean and doughy, shos a little more balance than most American-Belgians. Quite fresh and full bodied, creamy almost nitro mouthfeel. Somewhere between a Belgian amber and brown. A really enjoyable beer. QUite clean and well attenuated for the style.

Taster tap at the brewery. Let it linger on those taste buds and you’ll get a good spicy kick. It’s a orangish-brown in color, lots of different flavors involved and not too sweet. A good one for sipping.

Tap sample. Poured hazy brown color with an average off-white frothy head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Medium roasted malt and yeast aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium spicy sweet flavor with a medium spice sweet finish of moderate duration. Solid brew.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 TheAlum (3277) - Lisle, Illinois, USA - FEB 23, 2011
Sampled on tap at the brewpub (Madison, WI). Pours a nice deeper copper hue, some fiery orange, with a frothy offwhite head, dies to a thicker ring, laces ok. Aromas are a touch of yeasty enticing spice, some dark fruit pit cherry, toffee and caramel, faint yeasty spice. Initial is a touch of yeastiness, mellow sweetness pervades with caramel, toffee, breads, a touch of red fruit, yeasty spice, with some light florals, faint bitterness towards the finish. But largely, a sweet brew with a big malty bite. Some light yeasty sweetness and spice

draft at the brewery, pours amber white head, nose is very fruity, bubblegum
and red fruits. Flavors continue with big fruity profile bubblegum and
juicy fruit with spicy yeast undertones. Lively carbonation and easy
drinking. Good brew.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 madvike (1463) - Middleton, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 4, 2010
On tap at the brewpub - Pours rosy amber with a small white head. Floral hop profile dominates the nose, with a bit of citrus and some nuttiness. Taste is real nutty malt with light spice and a decent grassy hop profile. Syrupy but smooth, with nice carbonation. Not my favorite Ale Asylum offering, but decent nonetheless.
