Tap at Riverhouse. Golden with decent head. Fresh vines, perfume, dankness, and pepper. Flavor is slightly muted with a rounder mouthfeel than some other IPAs.

Bottle in La Crosse, WI. Hoppy strawberry and pine and apricot aroma in front of a little caramel malt. Slightly hazy copper under a lasting white collar and thin wisps. Hoppy pine resin flavour with stone fruit and strawberry. Medium bitterness in good balance with malty backbone. Medium body, medium carbonation, crisp.

Eleven separate additions of cascade hops give this American pale ale its lush citrus aroma and bold hop flavor without crazy bitterness.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle pour, though I’ve had this on tap at brewery before. Medium gold color - one finger white head that recedes quickly...little lacing. Aroma is citrusy - orange in particular...hint of resin - not overpowering, and quite enjoyable. Flavor is generally citrus hops...very mild bitterness (so bonus point as I see this was the brewer’s goal). Palate is medium bodied - seems appropriate for the drink. Could session this pretty easily. Nice offering - wont’ overwhelm you, but easy go-to beer that I’ll definitely enjoy again.

An average pale ale that is heavily hopped. Nothing special. But at the same time still drinkable.

Pours a hazy golden orange with a white head that settles to a film with great lacing. Pleasant orange citrus aroma with a bit of leafy green and hint of vanilla, like an orange toffee candy. Taste has juicy citrus and a floral character. A bit of malt sweetness co Es through along with a soft and somewhat chalky bitterness. Finishes mostly dry with the mild bitterness slowly building. Soft mouthfeel with a medium body and moderate carbonation. Nice orangey citrus flavors and aroma.
