3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy golden orange color with a nice inch of fluffy head. Aroma is hoppy, with a bit of pine and fruit. Carbonation is just lively enough, but not too "fizzy" in the mouth. Has a nice strong hop finish, but not overly bitter.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz bottle. Pours a slightly hazy copper body with a one finger fizzy white head that fell to a thin wispy covering. The nose is fairly bright citrusy hops, but there’s also a nice softness to it from the yeast profile. Some muted caramel maltiness below the hops. Stale iced tea like crystal malt dominates the flavor with the soft citrusy hops playing an accent role. The yeast dulls things up a bit on the flavor, especially on the finish. Soft carbonation with a very light caramel malt stickiness. Overall it’s not too terrible, it’s just not quite aggressive enough to satisfy my hop craving tonight Combined with the heavy crystal malt, it just doesn’t work as a whole.

( 12oz bottle thanks to BA piclee for the extra) Pours clear yellow-orange with oily bubbles on top. Nose of honey, and florals. Taste of light bitter hops with nice matching malt backbone. A little undercarbonated but highly drinkable.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle:   Orangish in color, quite hazy, but not thick, a little fiery, large off-white head, foamy, with decent lacing.   Looks good at least.   Citrus and hops on the nose, although I am getting some fragrant citrus
like notes, a little perfumy.   Smells like air-wick citrus candle.   Yep...   Decent hop presense for a Pale Ale, but malt is very minor and it has this slight artificial citrus rind flavor.   Its like a candle crossed
with air-freshener.   Meh... Body and mouthfeel are moderate, but nearing the thin side.   Quick finish, falls off abruptly.   Just not all there.   Tiz okay, but doesn’t carry the hop bits all the way through.
Needs to be beefed up some.   Thanks to Skyview for the bottle!

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Discount Liquors Milwaukee, WI. 11/09. Citrus hop aroma, slight pine, very pleasant. Orange appearance, minimal head and carbonation. Light bitterness, very well balanced with a nice malty sweetness. Slightly sticky, soft to flat carbonation, traces of salt. Overall very nice beer with a good finish that doesn’t hang around too long.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle thanks to fidelis83. Pours a hazy golden color with a medium sized off-white head. Aroma of fruity (among other things mango), citrus and slightly pine like hops. Light caramel and sugary notes left behind. Taste is pine cone, slightly husky, astringent, and hay like. Hoppy, but too grassy and astringent. Thin, with medium to high carbonation.

Draft at OF. Hazy orange-brown color. Solid APA. Sandy brown malt with some higher than average hop bitterness. Top notch example of the style. Dry and sweet, perfect balance. Quality stuff.
