3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at Stolpa’s Stein House. Not sure on the age of this tap, but very little hop aroma and little bitterness. I’ll have to try again.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
The appearance has an amber color with a small white head and lots of fine-grain sediment, and the aroma fuses resin and grassy hops with pale malts. The taste is mildly bitter and slightly sour, and the palate fuses a medium body, soft carbonation, slick texture, and a slightly bitter finish.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Golden amber color with minimal head. Aroma is malty / citrus. Taste is grapefruit with a subtle malt finish. One of the best American Pale Ales I’ve had in a while

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap- Aroma is mild citrus and grapefruit hops. Taste is well balanced with nice grainy malt and subtle citrus hops on finish. Palate is creamy and medium body. Overall a nice tasting beer, I could drink a few of these.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Copper pour; aroma is citrus and grapefruit. Floral hop flavor to start, then smooths out with grapefruit and pine needles. Just enough malt to balance this. Nice beer.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
It took awhile for Hopalicious to grow on me. While the light orange appearance and even head were spot on, the malts’ breadiness caught me by surprise. The latter shows up in the taste and aroma. Hops provide a citrusy freshness to the aroma and a juicy taste that appears behind the bread flavor. While I typically prefer my pale ales to be a little more aggressive, I can’t deny the balance and mastery applied to Hopalicious. It’s a one-of-a-kind brew that opts for balance over bitterness.

UPDATED: MAR 20, 2014 (Thanks Chris "Budznsudz")
A- Bread, sweet rolls, citrus.
A- Orange color, hazy liquid, white head.
T- Citrus, hops, slightly bitter.
P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, bitter finish.
O- Not as abrasive as I was expecting. Nice citrus aromas and flavors. A good IPA that had about a year of age on it. Pretty smooth and sessionable.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle pour. Tannish orange with a light orange aroma. Refreshing upfront that leads to a sweet squish of juice with no bitterness.
