TheDean (784), MIlwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Oct 11, 2006 So this was an interesting pale ale. It was hard to taste the hoppiness of it all due to an overpowering citrus taste. Would have like less of the sour and more of the hops, but not a bad beer.
Beerman6686 (542), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 26, 2008 Poured a light orange color with a big white head. Aroma is of a nice blend of hops, but not in your face, has some malt behind it. Flavor is fairly hopped up for a pale ale, but still well balanced by lots of malts. Pretty good. GJF (196), Cedar Rapids, Iowa, USA Jul 25, 2008 Great, straightforward IPA. Nice sticky, fresh hop flavor with a crisp, dry finish. drfabulous (657), Columbia, Missouri, USA Jul 22, 2008 Bought in Madison. Pine. Hops. Solid IPA all around and one that can easily compete with any Midwest IPA. doubelknv3 (443), Illinois, USA Jul 17, 2008 Floral, sweet malt, fruit, and citrus aroma. Hazy Golden with thin white head. Grapefruit with mild sweet malt balance. Lasting bitter finish. arjoseph (514), Marshall, Wisconsin, USA Jul 10, 2008 On tap at the brewery into a pint glass. Looks the way it should. Nice floral hop aroma. Soapy floral hops taste, a bit thin in feel, but a good bit of citric acid right before the mild malty finish with lingering hop acidity. The soapiness was pretty pervasive, and kept this from being a nicely delicate APA. Not as bitter as Sierra Nevada; could have compensated, but didn’t. Overall, pretty average beer. Enjoyable for a session back by the pool table.
