Pours a cloudy gold with a medium sized off-white head mostly lasting. Nose is hoppy. Very creamy on the palate, the taste is chock full of hops but is not overly bitter . A backbone of malt subtly enhances and sweetens the hops. Pairs well with smoked meats, especially fish or turkey.

Hazy light amber. Light caramel malt and earthy hops. Taste is buttery crackery malt and generous amount of spicy NW hops. Crisp and refreshing APA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

One of my favorite beers. Full of flavore, not too bitter. Goes well with any meal.

UPDATED: JAN 13, 2015 Bottle. Pours Scarlet & Gray with a National Championship head. Tastes like victory. (seriously... yeah, this is a solid IPA , but right now it could be a bottles of donkey piss and it would get a perfect 5 given the circumstances (...and I just polished off 15 cans of PBR while watching football) . O-H-FUCKING-I-O Baby!!!... this one is for Cardale, Zeke, Devin Smith, Joey Bosa and the Great State of OHIO!... and we beat this brewery’s state 59-0 in the B1G Conference Championship Game!) GO BUCKEYES!!!!!

Had this months ago. Light, a bit hazy, slight layer of foam. Aroma is tropical, fruity, mango. Drinks relatively easy, also fruity, slightly skunky. Later turns sweeter. Quite light bodied APA but well balanced with hops. Nice and sessionable. IPA’sh APA. Citric.

Pours a cloudy golden orange with off white head. Light lacing present. Aroma of citrus, pine, fruits, and spices. Medium body that was smooth and oily on the palate. Flavor’s of tropical fruit, caramel, herbal, and pine. Good brew.

Bottle at Bodega. Pours a clear golden amber with a near white head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has a nice light pine with a bit of citrus and a light grain backbone. Flavor has earthy pine and grass with a nice bit of grain backing.

Pours a hazy golden orange from the bottle with thin bubbly white head that leaves light lace. Aroma of distinct pale and caramel malts with nice citrus hops behind. Taste follows, a little stale and oxidized, but not too shabby.

Best by 2 mo away. Flowery-spice dandelion? belgiany minerally aroma. Has that certain kind of infected belgiany overy sweet- fruity aroma. Not the typical cascades. Taste is same with light toast light caramel dry malt. dry finish with citrus.Bought off room temp shelf moderately chilled, foamy carbonation. Very dry finish. Pretty foamy and carbonated, possibly the start of an infection? Pretty estery. Overall a pretty decent beer, not enthused about having a whole sixer of it.

The backbone of Madison craft beer. This is complex, yet approachable for the new craft drinker.
