A blend of seven unique malts give this brown ale an earthy aroma and a flavor reminiscent of caramel with a slightly creamy finish.

On tap @ Ale Asylum. Deep brown with a thick beige head. Lots of toasty malt and bread dough with some nuts and light coffee. Super smooth and creamy with a nuty finish. Very good beer, lots of malt flavor and extremely drinkable. I really liked this beer.

It has the look of toasted sugar, and has a nice caramel taste. It was a lot lighter in body than I expected and makes for a refreshing fall beer. The flavor isn’t too potent and it’s not very filling.

1. Look - A very hazy unfiltered ale medium in color and pours a small tan head. 2. Sniff – There is a big rich chocolate aroma. 3. Sip – This brown ale is very smooth and has a nice toasty flavor. 4. Another Look – The head has dissipated and there is not lacing. There is a lot of sediment, but also a lot of bubbles. 5. Evaluate – Overall, this is tasty brown ale that has a smooth wet finish. It very easy drinking and would pair well with beef. I would recommend this ale to my family and friends.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a hazy brown color with a thin tan head. Poor head retention. Aroma of chocolate, toasted malts, caramel, floral hops and faint nutty notes. The taste is nutty notes, chocolate, citrus, caramel and a lightly hopped finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Decent beer.

Bottle. Pours a lightly hazy copper brown color witha medium sized off whit head. The aroma is malt forward with caramel, nutty, light vanilla and biscuity. The flavor has moderately sweet biscuits dipped in caramel. Mild nuttiness with a finish that is slightly bitter. Creamy and light/medium bodied. Not a bad brown, butt...

Brown ales are mostly not an exciting category, and this one on-tap at the brewery is no exception. It was however beter than average for the style because of its rich malt and creamy mouthfeel. Too sweet. Light brown colour with creamy head. It looks like its on nitro, which it is not.

Purchased at Breeze Thru Liquors in MIlwaukee, WI; enjoyed on the Labor Day weekend watching baseball after a long run, feeling good. Appearance a murky caramel brown with copious small yeasties and a thin white head that rims around the glass. Aroma is nutty with apparent caramel, slightly floral as well, somewhat unique. Taste is definitely nutty, nice malty finish, not too carbonated, also very slightly floral, medium body. Another good one from this great brewery.
