On tap at the new location, looks like a brown ale, smells like a brown ale. Taste is sweet and malty, well balanced. A solid example of the style beer.

Pours dark brown with a finger of foamy, tan head. Nose is bready with slight fruity notes and a hint of caramel. Taste is slightly bitter on a malty-sweet backbone. Medium body. Lively carbonation. Good stuff.

I thought this was a little hoppy for the style. Still an easy drinker though

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a dark brown with a good deal of yeast in the bottom of the bottle. Good shelf life on this beer. The aroma is clean with some dark roasted notes. The flavor is a typical American micro ale with a thick mouthfeel due to the use of a high percentage of caramel malts. All in all pretty good.

Another great nut brown ale. Really easy to drink. Nice nutty and malty start. Pours reddish brown in color with a tan head. Smells nutty. Had at grafton.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz bottle poured into a shaker. A roasted nut aroma is initially noted with some grains and earthiness late. Itís a dark, but clear, mahogany color with a tan-yellow soapy head that retains a moderate ring and leaves a dusty lace. Itís balanced between moderate bitter and sweet. The smooth beer has a light and fuzzy carbonation. The medium body is roasty and nutty with some grains and earthiness and a syrupy, and creamy, caramel finish. Itís surprisingly clean with just a hint of caramel.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Brown with a small beige head. The aroma is a mix of toffee, caramel, and some nutty malt. The flavor adds a bit of esters, and has a nice toasted brown malt character. Reminds of a lighter version of a brown porter. Finishes a tad sweet, and is quite easy drinking.
