A blend of seven unique malts give this brown ale an earthy aroma and a flavor reminiscent of caramel with a slightly creamy finish.

12 oz bottle. Pours a nice copper color with a small head. Some lacing. Aroma is mostly caramel, with some nut notes. Flavor is very malty, with caramel, nut, and toast notes. Kind of a buttery finish too. Palate is a bit on the thin side. Very drinkable, and I could see it being paired with a meal easily.

Pours a dark brown with a good deal of yeast in the bottom of the bottle. Good shelf life on this beer. The aroma is clean with some dark roasted notes. The flavor is a typical American micro ale with a thick mouthfeel due to the use of a high percentage of caramel malts. All in all pretty good.

Another great nut brown ale. Really easy to drink. Nice nutty and malty start. Pours reddish brown in color with a tan head. Smells nutty. Had at grafton. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle poured a clear reddish brown with a small lasting tan head. Aromas of caramel, cocoa and light nbuttiness. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of cocoa, caramel and a hint of nuttiness with a smooth finish.

12 oz bottle poured into a shaker. A roasted nut aroma is initially noted with some grains and earthiness late. It’s a dark, but clear, mahogany color with a tan-yellow soapy head that retains a moderate ring and leaves a dusty lace. It’s balanced between moderate bitter and sweet. The smooth beer has a light and fuzzy carbonation. The medium body is roasty and nutty with some grains and earthiness and a syrupy, and creamy, caramel finish. It’s surprisingly clean with just a hint of caramel.

Brown pour from 12oz bottle. Carmel and roast aroma. Nutty and earthy taste with a malty ending. A very nice brown.

Brown with a small beige head. The aroma is a mix of toffee, caramel, and some nutty malt. The flavor adds a bit of esters, and has a nice toasted brown malt character. Reminds of a lighter version of a brown porter. Finishes a tad sweet, and is quite easy drinking.

Roasted caramel malt has a strong vegetable edge and fecal aftertaste. Not recommended.

Not much aroma. Chocolate caramel flavor. Slight nuttiness. Smoother than most brown ales.

Overall good nutbrown. Heavy chocolate flavor with minimum nut flavor. Very smooth with a nice after taste.
