Pours a nice light brown color with a small, creamy beige head.Aromas of nutty caramel malts, maybe some hops peeking through. Great nutty caramel flavor. Hops entice your tongue just a little in the beginning, then fade away.Slight bitterness on the ending. Good brew, but unfortunately a little thin.

Bottle thanks arkurzynski! Pours clear brown red with a quick soapy off white head that fades to a film. Aroma has a roasted malt with a little brown sugar (very faint) and slight dried fruit. Taste is oatmeal and figs with roasted malt and a subtle bitterness throughout. Palate is thin slick and finishes chalky.

On tap @ Asylum. Pour is brown with a khaki head. Aroma is toasted malt, milk chocolate, nuts, and earth. Flavor shows sweet toffee/caramel and finishes with what seems like a hint of coffee. Overall body is moderate, creamy and finishes with enough balance to make a session beer.

It has the look of toasted sugar, and has a nice caramel taste. It was a lot lighter in body than I expected and makes for a refreshing fall beer. The flavor isn’t too potent and it’s not very filling.

1. Look - A very hazy unfiltered ale medium in color and pours a small tan head.
2. Sniff – There is a big rich chocolate aroma.
3. Sip – This brown ale is very smooth and has a nice toasty flavor.
4. Another Look – The head has dissipated and there is not lacing. There is a lot of sediment, but also a lot of bubbles.
5. Evaluate – Overall, this is tasty brown ale that has a smooth wet finish. It very easy drinking and would pair well with beef. I would recommend this ale to my family and friends.
