From esjaygee, thanks Steve. Pours has a small head but it sticks around. Color of the beer is a thick, yet glowing, reddish-orange-copper. Cannot see through it but it looks beautiful. Aroma has a bit of that candy-ish, sweet syrup thing going but it isn’t bad here. Plays well, just there and not overbearing. Otherwise, there is sweet mallt and light alcohol coming through. It all works well together to represent an American version of a Quad. Taste is lightly fruity sweet syrup (not too sweet). Easy drinking yet full and alcoholic and sweet. So it balances the line fairly well. The problem is while it isn’t "bad" there isn’t coming from it. It is just a fruity, lightly sweet, strong ale. I would never really think of this as a quad. But for what it is, it is decent,

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a fading off-white head over a clear golden body. Aroma is sugary, grain, alcohol and plums. Taste is earthy, caramel and sugary with a good amount of alcohol and light fruit. Creamy palate.

Pours a transparent bright copper amber with a thin, wispy-lacing off-white head. Aroma of sweet dark caramel light fruits and a touch of biscuity malts. Body starts with good fullness and honeydew fruity character along with some mild bitterness before a semi-dry warming finish. Could use a more dominant Belgian yeasty flavor, but still a good attempt at the style.

Caramely malt and fruit ester, little hints of burnt brown sugar, taste is sugary malt ,with red sucker sweetness little bit of marachino cherry fruit ester,a mild swell of alcohol, and hop bitterness in the finish. I don’t know if its a Belgian Quad, but it a wonderful glass of Wisconsin brew

Pours a beautiful mahogany with a slight but creamy head. Smells very yeasty and phenolic, of pears and raisins, brown sugar and roasted malts. Has caramel flavors upfront and in the finish but in between tastes big, hoppy, and sweet. This is a barley wine, though the label doesn’t indicate it. With a deep malt profile, spicy yeast, and plenty of hop bitterness it packs quite the punch. Has a very sticky mouthfeel and the alcohol has gone straight to my head. II may have to go sit down. A zany and tasty offering from Ale Asylum.

Poured a slightly hazed deep amber with a small off-white head. Yeasty phenolic notes hit the nose big and first. Then some browned fruits, sugar and bubblegum. Mildly sweet that dries for the finish. Dry caramel. Dull finish/mouthfeel. Low carbonation.
