This blew me away. What a great beer. Hazy amber with a white head. Candy floral aroma--simple awesome. Flavor gives way to grapefruit, tangerine, orange, and didn’t finish too bitter. Not a perfect palate but balanced on the palate nonetheless. I bought two bottles--we’ll see if they hold up to the standard set by the tap version. Wow. (tap at Old Fashioned, Madison)

Bottle. Pours deep reddish orange, with creamy off-white head. Sticky lacing. Big caramel malts up front, biscuity mouthfeel, bright citrus and moderate bitterness. Lingering finish of the back of the tongue. Hides the ABV well. Really solid.

Thirsty Troll Beer Fest. Pour is deep orange/red amber with an off-white head. Aroma shows orange zest, apricot, pineapple, and light florals. Flavor shows the same with a big caramel backbone and additional notes of grapefruit and pine. Overall body is moderate, somewhat sweet, and finishes with moderate bitterness.

12 oz. bottle from stevemastny- thanks again, Steve! Pours a cloudy amber color with visible sediment at the bottom of the glass and a small, lasting off-white head that leaves some lace. Aroma of caramel malts, resinous hops, toasted sugar, grass, and straw. Flavor of caramel malts, syrup, citrusy hops, brown sugar, molasses, resin, and tropical fruits. Medium-full bodied, with moderate carbonation and a juicy, sticky mouthfeel. Good DIPA.

pours a cloudy deep orange amber with a thick head that leaves a nice lacing. aroma is citrus, resin, pinewood. Sweet malt backbone with a hoppiness that attacks and linger. This beer is all about bitterness. Mission accomplished.

Sturdy two finger head, lasting with very good lacing, light tan in color. Hazy, copper color. Fat hoppy nose, oranges and resin, hint of alcohol. Body is med/full, really oily on the palate, chewy, grainy. Malts are a bit sweet for me but seem to be balanced by the heavy hopping. Caramel malts, piney citrusy and earthy hops, lil wood and mint. Lightly sweet finish, light fruit and citrus. Malts over ride the hops in the finish making them less punishing,,, unfortunately. Still a very solid DIPA. Bottle from ughsmash! Thanks much buddy!

Purchased at Breeze Thru Wine & Spirits in Milwaukee, WI; enjoyed on a Tuesday night prior to leaving this frozen city for warmer weather in California. Appearance is a red/orange amber with a thin white head that rims around the glass and tiny floating yeasties...the color is very vibrant. Aroma is filled with hops, mostly citrus with a slight grassy, and caramel malt, slight bit of grapefruit, nice smell. Taste bursts with flavor, it’s very bitter, but not too bitter, it retains its enjoyability factor. Hops are the dominating aspect with again mostly citrus, and it does provide a bit of sweetness. Ale Asylum comes through with another really good, solid brew.

12 ounce bottle courtesy of cbfobes. Thanks! Pours a hazy reddish amber color with a thin tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of big floral hops, berries, citrus and pale malts. The taste is toffee, berries, resin and citrus hops. Medium bodied. Nice.
