Nice sample pour of mild amber with full white head. Nose is citrus and grapefruit with mild candy sweetness, maybe mango and some tropics. Flavor is super smooth, citrus and bitter, but not too sharp. Somewhat balanced... Some mango but less than the nose. Mild medium body. Not bad at all.

The variety of flavors I detected surprised me. I expected the hops but this beer is way more than just your average over-hopped amber. Nice malt balance, great color, the hop presence was undeniable yet seemed perfectly balanced by this substantial brew. I enjoyed it on tap at the Ale Asylum brewery last year. Itís a couple of hours from my house but if itís on tap Iíll be there.

Really dark color. Lots of resin and pine. Some sweetness but very bitter. Darker hop flavor. Reminds me a little of a DFH 90. Nice full body IPA.

Bottle. Nice rich aroma that smells like an American Strong. Murky dark orange body with a thin off white head. Sweet but not cloyingly so. Quite frankly wonderful. Warming.

This one has a bite to it, but in a good way. You know youíre drinking a DIPA. Lots of pine and grass on the nose, follows onto the palate. A bit of resin and floral notes follow. Pretty complex, and worth trying if in Madison.

12oz bottle. Kinda hoppy. Kinda sweet. Smelled a bit like rice Krispy treats strangely enough.

Pours a nice looking ruby dark orange amber. Medium plus creamy off-white head, mostly partially with good lace. Big aroma. Heavy hoppy and malty, sweet. Fruity, pine, citrus, tropical, caramel. Flavor follows. Some nice dank fruitiness. A hint of spiciness. Bigger medium to full body. Pleasant bitterness, smoothed out with caramely sweetness. Nicely balanced. Doesnít get too big for its own good. Excellent drinkability, especially for the style. Would recommend.

sweet malt, hoppy, a little roasty, caramel aroma. Taste start with citrus hops, goes to a sweet bitterness, and ends with a slight dry bitter finish. Smooth transitions throughout.

Cloudy red-orange. Bright floral Centennial hops on the nose. Taste - hop-forward citrus floral and resinous flavors collide with a sticky caramel malt backbone. A very nice IIPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Ale Asylum. Amber hued. This is a pretty beer. If smells like tropical and sweet. This is a rich and full aroma. This is a big and complex beer, the flavor is deep with lots of tropical fruit, mangoes, ruby grapefruit, resin, and candied fruit. Medium-ish body, fairly bitter well balanced. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
