COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This Flanders Red was fermented in a Climbing Monkey Wines barrel, using the lees that were left after bottling. We are really happy with the dry-red wine finish. When fermentation was complete we dosed the barrel with our blend of wild yeast and bacteria that we created in the Grand Cru.

On tap at Bistro BA Fest poured a clear reddish brown with a small lasting tan head. Aromas of basalmic vinegar, carmel, vinoue notes and fruittiness. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finiush. Flavors of carmel, citrus, tea and tobacco with a crisp dry lightly tart funky finishj.

Pours dark amber. Aroma is smooth(!) brett. Near med body. Flavor is primarily brettish vinosity. Finishes a bit earthy and very vlaanderen.

On draft at Beer Revolution. It pours brown with a small off white head. The aroma is not too bad with some cocoa, syrup and nuts. The flavor is lightly dry and a touch acidic with some toast and nuts. Almost no carbonation. This one was a dud. The flavor was weak as was the body. Not much going on.

Draft. brown beer with a low cream colored head. light tartness and light gain aroma. Grain and tart flavor with light cleaning solution. Medium bodied. Grain and tartness lingers with light earthiness. Something just seemed off.
