COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is like sticking your head in a bag of grain and inhaling. This beer has some very good coffee/chocolaty flavors that make this one of the best brown beers out there. The flavors are huge and the alcohol is low, which makes for a great combination

Tap at Monk’s Kettle. Clear ruby with a 1 1/2 finger beige head, fading quickly to a wet, thick film. Nutty toasty bread nose with a lightly roasty backend and a tiny tinge of butteryness. Flavor is much the same with some light herbal hops, bitterness coinciding. Got a tinge of doughy yeast as well. Semi-dry finish, chocolatey with bitterness at a 3. Medium body with mod carbonation. An OK brown--not bad, but nothing outstanding in this blandish style.
