On tap at City Beer. A hazy, orange beer with a small, light beige head. The aroma is a bit sweetish, but with lots of pine cones and citrus peel. It’s rather bitter in the mouth, full-bodied and lightly warming. Nice carbonation too. Sugary malty sweetness, pine cones and lemon peel. Lasting finish where the bitterness beats the sweetness. Overall, too sweet, but I like it anyway. 130805

Tap at the Rubicon. Pours hazy orange gold. Light citrus and evergreen aromas. Flavor is evergreen, light fruit, citrus and caramel. And some floral. Decent bitter. Quite nice. Almost mellow.

Hazy orange pour with a tall white head. A very nice nose to this. Plenty of citrus, pine, and floral hops. A slight bready malt sweetness, some herbs, and a touch of wood. The flavor is very bitter and a bit too grassy. Somewhat sweet with a fair amount of bread and toasted malt. Some decent citrus, herb, and pine hop flavors, but too much bitterness and not enough hop flavor.

On tap at the brewery. Pours with a lightly hazed golden hued body and a lasting white head. Aromas of big time citrus and tropical fruits. Lightly bready and grainy. Citra. Flavors are big tropical fruits, mangos, dry, lightly bready, citrus. Great! Dry (nicely so), medium bubbles. Well done!

Draft. Amber beer with a cream colored head. Grapefruit and pine aroma. Grapefruit and pine flavor with caramel. Medium bodied. Nice bitterness. Pine resin and grapefruit lingers with light summer fruit and caramel.

Pours cloudy orange/amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, citrus, grape and pine. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with a long caramel and bitter finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

On tap at Monks Kettle. Pours cloudy blonde with a decent off-white head and a fruity aroma. There is a hearty caramel malt flavor with massive hop bitterness. It works pretty well if you are a hophead.

Tasted from the firkin at the Triple Rock Firkin Fest April 7, 2012. This IPA pours a medium orange gold color from the firkin. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and citrusy. A medium bodied IPA. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are citrusy and herbal. Mild carbonation. Touch of lingering bitterness. Good balance. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
