A.I. Evolution, Generation 1 is an English Strong Brown, 8% abv. We are really loving the subtle oak character that the barrels have given the beer. The color of this beer has come from English Brown malt, a very earthy and nutty malt. Victory and Special B malts give it a beautiful caramel flavor and depth. Nugget hops from the U.S. are used for bittering and Willamette is for flavor hops. Finish is malty and toasty.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
On draft at the brewery. It pours a nice dark red/brown with a small khaki head. The aroma is chocolate with strong roasted malt (I was told that there’s no chocolate malt in here, but you could’ve fooled me) Lots of dry toast and oak as well. Very nice. The flavor is dry, oaky and roasted with a little baker’s chocolate bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied. Very good. I can’t wait for the next generations of this beer. Love the concept!
