COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This English style barley wine is a beer that will warm you right up on those cold winter nights. We use over a 100 pounds of molasses to give the beer a different flavor plus the molasses compliment the hops we use named Styrian Bobec (never heard of it before, decided to give it a shot) this hop has a real earthy flavor and aroma that compliments this beer well!

Draft. Toffee colored beer with a low off-white head. Earthy aroma with some caramel malt. Mineral and caramel/toffee flavor with something strange finishing (wierd sorta metallic). Medium-plus bodied. Strange metallic flavor lingers with caramel/toffee and light spice.

Sampled at City Beer Store on tap. Drinks really nice. Smooth and crisp. Medium brown, clear and ice cold. Full of really strong malts. Not to spiced. good barleywine.

From tap at Toronado, Barley Wine Fest 2010. Pours almost clear and golden dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is mild vegetable, yeasty and caramelish. Sweet caramelish and light yeasty flavoured. Light bitterness coming through into a caramelish finish.

Tasted at Jupiter. Medium dark brown with a fizzy off white head. Malt and spice stand most prominently on the nose. Taste is of caramel and toffee with the spiciness of a typical winter warmer. It was decent.
