COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer took some planning and lots of time. Peche is batch 1.5 here at Ale Industries. We set aside half of our first batch and aged it in three separate wine barrels. We added different fruits to each barrel. This year we are releasing Peche. The base beer (Orange Kush) was soured with Lactobacillus and Brett in an Olin Wines zinfandel barrel. Last summer 30 lbs of peaches and 20 lbs of apricots were added, both locally grown at Arata Ranch. What was created is an incredibly delicate 5.0% ABV beer.

Draft. Amber beer with an off-white head. Tart/sour aroma with light peach and light malt. Tart flavor with light peach and light malt. Medium-light bodied. Light malt and light peach lingers with tartness.

Hazy light orange with a fizzy white head. Sweet and slightly sour peach aroma and taste with a refreshingly tart peach finish. Nice and crisp.

Pours orange with a small white head. The aroma is inviting with oranges, peaches, chamomile, and some light funkiness and sour fruit. The flavor is medium sour with chamomile, apricot, peaches, a little oak with some vinous notes. The body is slightly weak and it doesn’t pack a real sour punch, but very refreshing and good brett presence. An above average sour. If you like the base beer (Orange Kush) and you like sours, you will love this beer.
