3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from 16 Tons Taphouse, Eugene. Pours a dark reddish brown, a color not unlike a Dubbel, very little tan head. Aroma malty, sweet, raisins, figs, smells like a Dubbel, too. Huh. Body is surprisingly delicate, taste very nice, rye and slight bitterness at at end, lovely finish. Not mind-blowing, just interesting and tasty.

Great rye. His all the right notes, spicy, with enough body to keep the hops honest, while still being refreshing.

3.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A very nice beer. Pours a really nice amber with a thick white head. Smells incredible, like tropical fruit and vanilla. Taste is creamy and little sour, with a hoppy finish. Had on tap at Hopmonk.

UPDATED: MAY 4, 2014 Soapy, a hint spicy, quite perfumey hoppy. Moderate body. Moderate to high bitterness. Well made if not quite hitting it out of the park. RERATE. Agreat hoppy rye infused pale.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
22oz bomber pours with a clear amber body supporting a tan colored head of foam. The modest aroma is a little roasty, a little nutty as well as delivering some pine hoppiness. The taste is very nice as I get a pleasing mix of mildly roasted malts, a touch of nutty malts and then pine hops backed up by a dark German rye bread like spiciness. To midway a thin ring of citrus hoppiness joins in and helps the experience get even more bitter with hops as the malts seem to get a little bit roastier. Tasty stuff indeed.

3.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Mildly roasted and spicy rye aromas and flavors dominate, with light bitter hop flavors in the finish. A refreshing, mildly roasted, spicy, beer with a mildly bitter finish. Rye is well showcased. Hops make appearance in finish. Good mouthfeel, decent carbonation and lower ABV. Has a hand-crafted, home brew feel to it. No complaints.

Hazy copper with tan head. Fantastic lacing. Caramel dominates aroma with earthy hops. Full, chewy yeast and malt follow through with a full caramel and toast flavor.

Poured from a bomber. Aroma is hoppy but reflects the rye malt. Flavor is similar but with a balanced malt character and a nice rye palate. Great beer, lots of lacing and pretty clear.

Light brown pour with a white head. Aroma of caramel malts to go along with the rye and citrus hops, taste is a little spicier with the rye and hoppy flavor shining through. Good Stuff!
