Poured from a bomber. Aroma is hoppy but reflects the rye malt. Flavor is similar but with a balanced malt character and a nice rye palate. Great beer, lots of lacing and pretty clear.

Light brown pour with a white head. Aroma of caramel malts to go along with the rye and citrus hops, taste is a little spicier with the rye and hoppy flavor shining through. Good Stuff!

Brown pour, light colored head. Rye spice and lots of citrus/pine hops on the tongue. Flavor is smooth, rye works very well with the hops they chose. Nice.

Almost mahogany in color with an off-white head. Nose is heavy on the rye, molasses, and toffee maltiness. Some floral and earthy hops, a bit of pine, and a mild roast note. Flavor has a moderate bitterness to go with a strong malt profile of molasses, toffee, and rye. Hints of chocolate and roast, floral, earthy, and piney hops to add some balance.

A - Pours a just barely clear ruby-orange with a finger of frothy khaki head. The head fades down at a normal pace leaving behind some lacing. S - Aroma is a mix of sweet caramel malts, spicy rye, some bready malts, grapefruit and citrus hops, and a touch of pine hops. T - Starts off with a mix of sweet caramel malts with some grapefruit and citrus hops and mild bitterness. Through the middle, the spicy rye comes through with some bready malts, and a bit of pine hops and more bitterness. The finish is a mix of spicy rye and caramel malts with grapefruit hops and some bready malts. M - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Feels smooth with a spicy, dry, and lightly bitter finish. D - Very drinkable. Nice rye beer with some good earthy and spicy rye flavor and great overall balance.

On tap. Medium to dark brown with a cream/beige colored head. Aroma is definitely rye with some roasty notes and some semi-sweet notes - possibly chocolate? Flavor has some slight caramel malt sweetness with a lot of nice rye character. Some pepperiness and earthy hops towards the finish. Medium bodied. Overall a very nice rye!

Tap: hazy brown with medium-sized off-white head. Aroma is light roast grain and caramel. Flavor is grainy with a toffee sweetness, a bitter tangy hop bite comes in the end with some salt and nutty notes. Good flavors, will drink again.

Bottle... Poured deep red with a thick, eggy head. Drinkable with low bitterness. Quite sweet. Unfortunately not a whole lot of rye spice and flavor. Nice mouthfeel though, not over carbonated. Sweet malted finish.
