COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Imperial stout aged 14 months in Cab barrels with Lacto and Brett and blended with Noyauk Kriek aged 2 1/2 years in Zinfindel barrels with 65 pounds of cherries.

Draft. Blackish beer with a tan head. Tart and cherry aroma with malt. Cherry and tart/light sour flavor with malt. Medium bodied. Cherry and tartness lingers with light sour notes, malt, and light darker malts. Stout characteristics in bakground.

On draft at Tap 25. It pours dark brown with almost no head. The aroma is very chocolaty with potent cherry, funk and barrel. The flavor is big sweet cherries with some nice backing funk, sour wine, barrel and chocolate. The tartness from the lacto blends beautifully with the sweet cherries and chocolate. The finish brings out more wine barrel tannins and toasty brett. The carbonation is very light and is probably my only complaint since I love everything else about this beer. Great job guys!

Black with no head. Aroma is coffee and chocolate and cherries. Flavor is rich, very sour and very bitter. Unfortunately, it’s flat.

On tap at Triple Rock Sour Beerfest. Pours dark brown with no head and a strong cherry aroma. There is a flat chocolate flavor with lots of cherry and a dry finish.

Tap at Sour Sunday. Pours dark brown/black with no head. Sour cherry aroma. Flavor is sour with sweet cherry ( brewer says ale is sour, but cherries were bing). Cabernet notes. More than notes. Complex tasty and excellent beer.
