Light amber color. Malt focused, light bodied simple yet nice brew. Not quite bitter enough.

22oz. bottle at a recent bottle share – reviewed from notes. Aroma is oddly vegetal and soapy with the hops being pine forward. Perhaps a touch of malt balance, but I can’t really get over the vegetable smell. I can already tell I’m not going to dig this… The beer pours hazy orange with some red hues to it. Nice head retention that sticks for a majority of the pour. Taste is pretty mild with grass, herbs, lemon, cooked vegetables and soap. Yikes. Body is thin with medium carbonation. Something is really off about the aroma and finish, Not sure if an old bottle..

Earth, pine, orange and citrus aromas are all balanced together. A sweet grain malt aroma also shows moderately. Hazy golden orange with white head that lingers and has slight lacing. Flavor of orange, dank and pine. Strong bittering doesn’t really balance well for a session ale. Mouthfeel is medium-thin and beer finishes quickly.

22oz bottle picked up at BevMo in Walnut Creek
Pours clear golden with a big white head and lots of sticky lacing. Aroma is grassy, pine, lemon peel and rubber. Flavor is herbal, piney and burnt rubber
OK, but not good.

I have now had this beer on draft and from the bottle and both times underwhelmed me. Not bright to me. More dank and earthy. Some metallic notes as well. Not the hop combo for me.

Bottle:   Soft orangish straw, a bit of haze, huge frothy off-white head, spotty lacing.   Mealy nose, citrus peel, pith, lightly hopped.   Candyish sweetness on the tongue, candied pith, faint earthy malts.   A little spicy on the backside.   Moderate example, body and mouthfeel are average.   A little spruce or pine on the finish.   Very evergreen on the finish.   Decent, but a little muddled.

Amazingly golden orange in color... Aroma of pine, citrus hops... Flavor is light and not overly hoppy... Nice piney hop finish, very session able but kind of boring ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sampled on tap at The Refuge. A refreshing ale. The session base flavor was nice and mildly hopped.

Bottle, 4.75%. Dull amber body with a short off-white head. Gummi bear candy aroma with a surprisingly strong urinal cake and candied ginger and garlic aroma. Candyish flavor, seemingly super sweet breakfast muffin malt with a lean body and highly bitter finish of resin and orange caramel gummi candy and urinal cake.
