Little taster. Grassy, dry malts, some citrus and pine. Crisp, light, refreshing. Quite nice and very drinkable.

Thanks for the hook up Albert! Hanshin Seed Event from a bomber. A clear gold, off-white head. Light malts, grassy in the aroma. Sharp carbonation, sandy mouthfeel. Clean green hoppy bitterness. Very bitter, pine all the way tasty but too bitter for me. Lots of flavor for less than 5% ABV though.

UPDATED: JUL 2, 2014 Bottle. I think this bottle is infected. Lots of foam, a little tart in nose and taste, dry, very bitter in the back. Very different from when I had it on tap. On tap is was balanced, with a little earthy quality that was great. This bottle was missing a lot of the subtle qualities that made the beer very enjoyable. Too bad. It seems they have a QC problem. Usually great brewery though.

Bottle. A cloudy yellow orange color with a white head. A nice session IPA. The hops were plentiful to keep it interesting.

Earthy, floral aromas. Slight hops and hints of orange citrus. Palate bitter, earthy and alcoholic leaving little to the finish. Overall disappointing, I expected more.

The beer and foam came flying out of the bottle and all over me and the floor. A little later trying to pour it into the glass it quickly foamed up half of the glass. The body is a hazy straw color though. The aroma is grain and apricot. The taste is fairly well balanced and light tasting. There’s a touch of metallic, but it’s mostly lemon flavored. The texture is crisp with high carbonation. A poor beginning and the rest is okay.

Tap. Pours cloudy amber orange, small off white head, some lacing. Aroma is pine needles, spruce, floral, almost perfume musk. Flavor is similar, medium sweet and light plus bitter with a lingering bitter finish. Medium body, a bit watery and chalky. Not bad, a little old school.

Light amber color. Malt focused, light bodied simple yet nice brew. Not quite bitter enough.

22oz. bottle at a recent bottle share – reviewed from notes. Aroma is oddly vegetal and soapy with the hops being pine forward. Perhaps a touch of malt balance, but I can’t really get over the vegetable smell. I can already tell I’m not going to dig this… The beer pours hazy orange with some red hues to it. Nice head retention that sticks for a majority of the pour. Taste is pretty mild with grass, herbs, lemon, cooked vegetables and soap. Yikes. Body is thin with medium carbonation. Something is really off about the aroma and finish, Not sure if an old bottle..

Earth, pine, orange and citrus aromas are all balanced together. A sweet grain malt aroma also shows moderately. Hazy golden orange with white head that lingers and has slight lacing. Flavor of orange, dank and pine. Strong bittering doesn’t really balance well for a session ale. Mouthfeel is medium-thin and beer finishes quickly.
