3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
330ml bottle under the Celt branding, shared with jeevan. Pours clear amber, thin white head. Massive hop nose, resin and orange citrus, light pine. Taste is also in the standard DIPA territory. Good, but then, I kinda like this kinda thing.

Bottle at home, from Oddbins LB as Celt Seven Flowers, 07/03/14.
Hazed dark orange amber with a big ole frothed up white head dress of bubbledom.
Nose is candied sugars, caramel malts, pine, sweet tones, candyfloss, pine, bitter grapefruit in the background, pine.
Taste is caramel malt forward, lick of honey, orange pith, caramac bar, floral notes, quite sweet, bitter tropicals, candyfloss.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, a little sweet and cloying on the palate.
Ok DIPA but too sweet for me and not bitter enough.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Celt Experience version, from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Hazy, lumpy, amber. Thin, lasting, off white head. Light toffee. Ripe peach. A little bubblegum. Taste is thick sweetness. A pithy bitterness rolls around, a couple of days later, then hangs about, helping itself to toast and jam, whilst you’re trying to get ready for work. Or summat.

3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Golden and slightly cloudy.. Poured with a small head. Hops hit you hard and dominate throughout drinking although some bitterness does eventually creep through. Left lots of lacing. A powerful and very good example of this style.
