COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Keg and bottled; Special.

Brewed in Chicago on the Summer Solstice 2013 by Tom Newman of Celt Experience Brewery, Ben Saller of Atlas Brewing Co. and Jesse Edwin Evans and Samuel Evans of Ale Syndicate. The recipe was inspired by a Celtic legend surrounding the solstice and blends 7 different hops (Cascade, Citra, East Kent Golding, Simcoe, Hallertau, Warrior and Columbus) to create a smooth, citrusy and aromatic double IPA.
At 8.1% ABV and 60 IBUs, Seven Flowers will challenge and excite hop lovers on both sides of the Atlantic.

[Tap] On draft as ’Ale Syndicate Seven Flowers’. Very cloudy honey colored pour. A small dense white foam head on top. Aroma is both very sweet and very bitter. Grapefruit, pine sap, sweet malts and yeast in the nose. Flavors of Northwestern hops, pine resin, orange zest, pomegranate, pineapple and bread dough. Moderately hoppy. Crisp citrus finish, but the malts are also very apparent here.

Shared bottle at local tasting, from Oddbins Chiswick. BB date 08.09.2014. Deep golden to orange colour, moderate white head. Nice hoppy aroma, also hints of orange marmalade. Distinctly hoppy flavour, some caramel. Nice bitterness, but probably even better when fresher.
