UPDATED: JUN 2, 2012 On tap 3 consec days at piwoteka narodowa. Flat bitterness with an almost coffee grounds type of acidic component, harsh, brash and i love it. Minimal sweetness. Doesn’t fall apart by getting sweet or sticky when warm. Maintains very nice dense head for a while. The bitterness is not tropical at all...basically critic and pine. The aroma is a bit woody. Deep dark and rich even if one dimensional.

Bottle into glass. Bought @ Centrala Piwna, Poznań. Chocolate, roasty aroma. Rather malty with a bit of citrus coming from american hops. Black, clear liquid with rich head, nice lacing, durable head. Amazing taste, sweet with solid bitterness. Medium carbonation, alcohol gives a warming feeling, very drinkable beer. Roasty notes work very well with bitternenss creating a great beer, best BIPA brewed in Poland at the moment in my opinion. Surely better, than Doctor Brew’s and Bojan (ugh).

It has rather weak aroma of american hops and citruses. It’s hazy, completely dark, non-transparent, with beautiful head and lacing. In taste it has a strong bitterness which is moderated by some caramel sweetness. There are also a notes of coffee. For me it has a little too less body, it’s so runny.

500ml bottle. Pitch black color. Medium size, brown head, stays. Hops, roast, coffee, chocolate malts in aroma. Roast, sourish, sweetish, milky taste. Long lasting roast in aftertaste. Medium carbonation.

330ml bottle (Omerta, Krakow)
Lovely hoppy dark beer. Huge roast. Nice burnt corners, and a ton of new-world aromatic hops. Sweetish, keeps the roast really tasty. A storming hoppy stout. Black, tight beige head.

Bottle. Muddy brown, medium head, nice lacing. Aroma is mix of dark malts (chocolate, coffee, wood) and american hops (citrus, pine, herbs) with some ash too. Bitterness is fine, with some sour taste as well. It’s full, even quite heavy, well carbonated. Nice.

Bit muddy deep red-brown beer with thick-set dark beige head, slowly receding with lace. Dry hop, roasted notes, even coffee, dry leaves. Roasted flavour, bitterness is both roasted/burnt grain as aromatic hoppy. Finish is again weak coffee. Rather light MF, gristslickness, medium to well-carbonated. One big issue with this one. This isn’t a (black) IPA in my book, but a very heavily hopped dry stout. However, it ain’t half bad. Dziękuję bardzo, Aga i tatę!

W aromacie sporo chmielowej świeżości, lekka paloność, aromat mógłby być intensywniejszy, choć był całkiem przyjemny. W smaku czuć lekko grejfrutową, lekko trawiastą goryczkę, ciało w konsystencji i smaku przypomina brytyjskiego portera, spora gęstość, gorzka czekolada w smaku, spora słodycz fajnie kontrowana goryczką. Piwo nie wybitne, ale bardzo dobrze skrojone
